The Solar Grand Minimum

Record breaking blizzard - Grand Solar Minimum update - 8 foot snow drifts of "global warming" reported.

https://www.sott.net/article/363919-Record-breaking-blizzard-Grand-Solar-Minimum-update-8-foot-snow-drifts-of-global-warming-reported

According to the National Weather Service in Great Falls, Montana, this storm was effectively a blizzard in the Havre area, especially considering the severe impacts. A blizzard occurs when the following conditions are met for at least three consecutive hours: sustained winds or frequent gusts to at least 35 mph and considerable falling and/or blowing snow that frequently reduces visibility to less than a quarter mile.

Elsewhere, Zortman, Montana set a new one day record for October with 14 inches of snow reported Tuesday morning.

While not a record, Missoula, Montana recorded 10 inches of snow Monday night, which is the earliest recorded measurable snow there in 34 yrs.

The heaviest estimated snow amount from this storm is 30 inches in Rocky Boy, Montana. Drifts in at least one location were estimated to be eight feet high.

Top snowfall totals as of Tuesday evening include:

30 inches in Rocky Boy, Montana
20.4 inches near Encampment, Wyoming
18 inches near Steamboat Springs, Colorado
16 inches near Cameron Pass, Colorado
15.8 inches near Havre, Montana
Up to 15 inches near Breckenridge, Colorado
14 inches at the Vail Pass rest area on Interstate 70 in Colorado
14 inches near Redcliff, Colorado
14 inches in Zortman, Montana
14 inches in Cut Bank, Montana
13 inches in Havre, Montana (Havre City-County Airport)
13 inches near Rand, Colorado
12 inches near Laramie, Wyoming
10 inches near Avon, Colorado

The snow first affected the Colorado Rockies Sunday night into Monday.

Interstate 70 was closed in Colorado between Vail and Copper Mountain for a time Monday morning due to accidents and vehicles sliding off the icy road. Shelters were opened to take in stranded travelers in the area.

More than a foot of snow accumulated in many locations, including an estimated 14 inches of snow that was measured at the Vail Pass rest area on Interstate 70 as of Monday morning.

Seems as if all the snow would help to cleanse the air of smoke from the wildfires over there.  I have an elderly friend in Missoula who has complained of needing to wear a mask to leave the house, and hope the snow brings some relief. :)

Grand Solar Minimums Not Only Bring Cold, Wet And Windy Weather On A Worldwide Basis—They Bring The Collapse Of Civilizations

http://www.survivaldan101.com/solar-minimums-collapse-civilizations/

Democrats and liberals are going to be crushed by cold climate change. They are doomed because Nature is against them. They should have known better than play around with Mother Nature. The fact that it was snowing the middle of this summer in France and in Russia is just one indication that we are suffering from a cooling trend, not a warming one. Such indications have been evident in the global climate news for years.

“The Greenland Ice Sheet is gaining near-record amounts of ice this year,” says Tony Heller. Temperatures on the Greenland Ice Sheet have been extremely cold, and broke the all-time record for Northern Hemisphere July cold on July 4, at -33C. (-27.4F) Despite all evidence to the contrary, government scientists insist on believing fake GRACE data which shows almost all of Greenland losing ice,” says Heller. “These are criminals, not scientists. How much ice will melt, I wonder, at minus 33 degrees?

Conclusion

Grand Solar Minimums not only bring cold, wet and windy weather on a worldwide basis; they bring the collapse of civilizations and the birth of new ones. When the cold sets in and destroys crops, causing food riots and starvation it will be too late to do anything about it. For many reasons human civilization is set up for a crisis and collapse that will devastate billions and for sure, there are many people who are well aware of where present trends are taking us. Some people do prepare but most, for psychological reasons prefer to believe everything is just fine.

Massive areas of land will become too cold for agriculture – like Russia, Ukraine, Canada – we can expect social, political, demographic disruptions like nothing experienced in all of human history. That along with a massive financial collapse and economic depression will devastate much of modern civilization. These are two irresistible forces headed down humanities throat. Perhaps the only thing we as a race have control over at this point is avoiding a nuclear war, which is the last thing the human race needs at this critical juncture.

Interesting film which says that our solar system, which is moving through the Milky Way Galaxy, is beginning to exit a protective envelope called the Local Cloud, shedding the insulation that it gave us from galactic radiation (a.k.a. LaViolette's superwave?).  The combination of this phenomenon with our own sun's decreasing strength and earth's weakening electromagnetic field mean, according to narrator, that it will be thousands of years before earth ever approaches temperatures and conditions of the Grand Solar Maximum that we recently exited.

With all three of our shields down, we can expect Galactic energy to begin pouring into our atmosphere in magnitudes exponentially larger than what we have ever experienced.  Along with this comes greater static electricity, which is expected to be stronger in cold, dry air than in warm and humid conditions.  Besides static electricity, we can expect more cloud cover, lightning, hail, flooding and higher winds (maybe great for wind power and not as good for solar?).

Narrator comments that when the pole shift takes place, we can expect that the earth will retain 5 to 10% of its magnetic field, rather than dwindling down to zero.

Broad effects upon human (and animal?) health:

Overall systems affected:
Cardiac
Psychological
Cognitive
Motor
Autonomous (the portion of the CNS that functions without conscious thought)
Neurological
Autoimmune

Note that 5 of the 7 broad areas affected are related to the nervous system, and most are also electrical systems, suggesting the need for support from the B-complex, essential fatty acids, and electrolytes at a minimum, in addition to relying more upon oral intake of vitamin D than upon sunning out.

Specific health effects to expect:

More cardiovascular events of all kinds, including strokes.  People at risk for left ventricular dysfunction are in the greatest danger during "space weather" due to a theoretical switch from smooth electrical cardiac energy to a vortex of energy

Daily genetic mutations, not just occasionally

Cataract formation

Heightened risk of geriatric cancer

Possible radiation sickness

Build-up of radioactive iodine in the thyroid, blocking thyroid hormone production (even from space radiation?)

Sterility

Skin irritation

Inhibition of the immune system

Anxiety

Fatigue

Changes to bone, muscle and cartilage tissue

Other effects besides health
Power grid instability leading to:

Impeded cash flow

Heat scarcity

Food scarcity

Communications outage

Water shortages

Loss of Internet

Loss of cooling systems

Loss of transportation

Damage to aviation equipment

Damage to radar systems, affecting both weather forecasting and aviation

Electrical fires at power plants if not deliberately shut down ahead of time

Melted power lines if the system is not shut down deliberately

Electrical explosions

Entire countries losing power, such as occurred in Belize

Specific effects of the September, 2017 CME which mostly missed the earth:

Google Drive went down affecting corporations globally

Electrical explosions affecting pedestrians

Transformer fires halting traffic flow

Blackouts to large geographical areas

Shutdown of commerce

Shutdown of mass transportation

Shutdown of government offices

Prepping advice @ 59:00.

Safest and more dangerous areas of the U.S. to avoid @ 1:01:19.

Note: One graph in this film does not take into account the possibility of imminent occurrence of the pole shift caused by Px, but rather states that it will happen in our lifetime based upon all other evidence alone.

My take on it: Ascension may also be a physical phenomenon accompanying the spiritual aspects, acclimating or inuring us to increased space radiation, or there would be no life left on earth unless people lived underground (exposing themselves to radon as the alternative).  Hence the coming genetic upgrade for those spiritually prepared to receive it?

Screenshot #1: Lateral view of our Milky Way Galaxy, from which LaViolette's superwave is predicted to emerge and change all life on earth not overcome by it, as it spreads outward from Galactic Center.

Screenshot #2: Our current position in the Local Cloud, from which we are emerging.  Does it resemble a womb giving birth?

Screenshot #3: A SOHO Lasco C2 view of what a CME looks like if it's directed straight toward the earth: there is a total halo effect, rather than a lateral bubble.

Alberta breaks 80 year records as temperatures drop 15 degrees in minutes!

https://www.sott.net/article/381664-Alberta-breaks-80-year-records-as-temperatures-drop-15-degrees-in-minutes

Albertans have been dealing with winter-like conditions this Easter long weekend, but some locations have had it worse than others.

According to Environment Canada, three locations - Red Deer, Grande Prairie and Pincher Creek will remember Saturday as the coldest March 31 on record.

A cold front passed through the southwest corner of the province Saturday morning dropping temperatures in places like Cardston by 15 degrees within an hour.

Grande Prairie dropped to -30 C overnight breaking an 83-year-old record. Pincher Creek hit -21 C, edging an 82-year record, and Red Deer hit -22 C, breaking a record low of -19.4 C that was set in 1975.

Fort McMurray and Cold Lake set new low temperature records on Friday with lows of -31.7 C and -21.7 C respectively.

A number of weather warnings, and special weather statements have been issued across the province this weekend, including snowfall warnings.

Places like Jasper National Park saw between 15 to 20 centimetres of snow fall from Thursday night to Saturday morning, while some local ski hills saw even more.

Areas west of Calgary like Kananaskis recorded 15 centimetres with this system, while Calgary officially had close to 3 centimetres.

More cold weather is expected in Alberta for the weekend, with temperatures expected to remain below freezing for days in many locations.

The average daytime high in Calgary this time of year is 7 C. On March 31, 2017 it was 15 C in Calgary, 25 degrees warmer than this year.

A Failure of Civility: How to Defend and Protect You, Your Family, Friends, Neighborhood and America During a Disaster (by Mike Garand and Jack Lawson)

Quote
The Grand Solar Minimum has already arrived.

Quote
Weather extremes will occur in the same locations where they always did in the past, only worse now.

Getting Out of the City:
*Cities, especially high-rise apartment buildings, are not survivable
*Sell or trade an urban property
*Scale down in house size
*If no financial resources, seek employment as caretaker of rural property or farm hand
*Bug-out camping doesn't work well, unless you've practiced it ahead of time

Surviving in the Suburbs:
Make them more survivable by -
     -Meeting neighbors
     -Uniting the community
     -Establishing a neighborhood watch group
     -Assessing skill sets of neighbors
     -Setting up rain barrel catchments
-The only viable livestock is rabbits and pigeons kept for meat
            A. Breeding pairs produce 8-10 babies per month
            B. Young rabbits are eaten @ 4-5# in weight
            C. They can graze on lawn grass
            D. Humane slaughter: be kind to them in life, then kill them quickly.
            E. Pigeons can be allowed to fly out to forage and then come home
            F.  Their babies as meat are called squab.
-Locate garden in the back yard to avoid regulations and theft
-Woodstoves may also be against regulations

Safe Rural Locations:
*Away from river beds
*Sheltered from intense wind and rain
*Not below a dam
*Away from nuclear facilities
*Away from military bases
*Away from volcanoes
*Near a water source
*Away from navigable waterways
*Adequate rainfall location
*Arable land
*Defensible position
*Not visible from road
*Not easily accessible
*Reduce curb appeal
*Reinforced or A-frame roof for snow load
*Without a lot of windows
*With an in-ground storm shelter (not to be used during heavy rain or snow)
*If buried shipping container, tar the roof and reinforce the walls

Preparing the Family for What Lies Ahead:
*Physical fitness, walking instead of driving
*Quizzing children about emergency scenarios
*Practice shutting off the electricity and living without it
*Stockiing non-electronic entertainment, such as books and games

Protecting Your Supply Cache:
*Purchase with untraceable cash instead of credit cards
*Diversify locations for storage
*Sheds may collapse under snow
*Rodent-proof by putting buckets inside of metal cans
*Mousetraps
*You've already paid taxes to gov't and don't owe them your supplies

Part II addresses food and water storage.

This winter weather must be fairly extensive over the northern hemisphere, as winter just keeps hanging on.  Once in a while we get fooled into thinking spring has arrived, and, then, BOOM!, we're back down below freezing.  It's awful....however many have it so much worse, like East Coast of U.S. with 3 or 4 Nor-easters in a row!

And those snow storms everywhere.  I have to wonder, though, if it's a combination of things, because every 11 years we have the cycle, and I cannot ever remember a winter hanging on like this.  Plus we had the coldest winter ever.  Ever.  So who knows how much, if any, the unusually cold weather may be affected by any objects that may have wandered into the Solar System and which may be affectng our sun and its magnetic field, and/or the Earth's magnetic field--not to mention the Solar Minimum

At any rate, probably few in the developed world are well prepared!

and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nul7oG0auLg  @ 10:45

New climate map of Canada shows that a drastically reduced amount of acreage will now need to support the entire nation, due to mismatch between late freezes and crop planting window.  They may no longer have a surplus for export to other nations.

Up until now, Canada has been ranked as the fifth largest agricultural product exporter in the world: http://cafta.org/agri-food-exports/

Another video on the same subject stated that 80% of this year's winter wheat crop in the U.S. has already been lost, and that we should begin noticing pronounced shortages and inflation by 2019 at the latest.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsycbTURh7o

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qR3HCTr-6o&t=2s

Around 1:18:30, this discussion between scientists with backgrounds in climatology, geology, physics, biology and chemistry begins to become grim, with a timeline predicted:

*We are now descending from solar sunspot cycle 24, with probably another year of it remaining.  In 6-8 months from now the sun is predicted to cease production of sunspots.  2019 is predicted to be a full year without sunspots, with some sunspot production possibly returning some time between 2020 and 2022.  Once the sunspot magnetic field strength drops below 3,000 gauss, the sun loses its ability to create sunspots entirely.  So the sun potentially becomes trapped in a downward weakening spiral.

*The current rate of solar output decline is steeper than any in recorded history going back thousands of years

*As of two months ago, we exceeded a calendar deadline for pulling out of a Maunder Minimum, signifying that we have not been experiencing one.

*The winter jet stream has dropped 200 miles south in North America

*Instead of an average predicted 8o F drop in winter temps, we are seeing 20o drops

*Influx of cosmic rays is exacerbating the cooling effect

*The situation will be downplayed this summer

*Autumn and winter 2018-2019 will be even worse than 2017-2018, in which most of the winter wheat was ruined in North America (only 13% is Grade A).  More crops will be lost in 2019 than in 2018.

*Expect winter of 2019 to be twice as harsh.  If winter 2018 produced 3' thick ice in Hudson Bay, expect 6' ice depth in 2019.

*5' snow predicted north of Lake Huron for April 16, 2018.  That only historically happens about once every 80 years.

*Every household in the North needs to store food and have a water source, and plan for reduced electrical availability.

*Temperatures are still not above negative 10o F in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada for the spring growing season, and they are likely months away from being able to plow fields.  They had an average temp of -30o F for four months this winter.  Prediction: Neither of those provinces will be able to grow crops in 2019.

*There may end up being no sunspot cycle 25 at all, other than a few strays.

*There may be an infrequent solar flare strong enough to cause locations on earth to heat up to 180o F, even without sunspots.

*The power grid has been predicted to begin failing some time between 2022 and 2024 (these scientists are not Px-ers) due to excessive power draw-down to maintain home warmth.

*All growing seasons will shorten, regardless of location

*Food costs will increase.

*Savings accounts will be drawn down to keep up with the price of food and fuel

*Shortages will materialize.

*Some areas will not be able to grow crops at all, either for one season or perpetually.  Famine will spread.

*Civil unrest will escalate within 2-4 years from now; sooner in some locations.

*This past year we had the lowest grape harvest since WWII due to freezes.

*The majority of farmland will fail within 3 years.

*In less than 3 years, large nations will invade smaller ones and confiscate their food stores.

*Russia will be the strongest nation in Europe, as it has spent half a billion dollars just on greenhouses in Siberia and has been preparing in other ways as well.  https://www.food-exhibitions.com/Market-Insights/Russia/Russian-greenhouse-construction-boom

*China will be the strong force in Asia, having also prepared, and will likely invade smaller countries of South Asia.  China has hundreds of thousands of greenhouses, and every developed block in town grows 80% of its own food.

*At some point in the future, it is likely that Russians will be able to drive across the frozen Bering Sea en mass into the U.S., and Canada will not attempt to stop it.

*The average home in Russia has an organic subsistence garden, unlike the average home in the U.S.  They are not accustomed to depending upon trips to the grocery store.

*Need 5 years' worth of grain seed to plant, if space to grow large crops, or 5 years' worth of grain storage food, plus a minimum of one year of every other kind of storage food, in quantities enough that you don't have to tightly ration.

*The coming Grand Solar Minimum will freeze navigation waterways in the U.S. to an extent that the U.S. government will not be able to break the ice with ice-breaker ships.

*The ice age will affect all modes of mass transit on land as well

*Electrical demand on the grid for winter heat will exceed carrying capacity.

Thanks to Jim for emailing me a correction on the Gauss unit of measurement for this article.  More on sunspot weakness here: http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2010/09/say-goodbye-sunspots

Also, I should note that Px researcher Terral Croft has stated that he does not believe that we are entering a Grand Solar Minimum, but rather a more limited period of climate disruption due to the presence of the Dark Star, which he feels may remain in our inner solar system for another 11 years after a pole shift.  Here are two interviews of him by different leaders in the Px research community from just this week:
