The four magnetic fields of the sun are going out of phase with each other, and along the edges you'll get these little whirlpools of magnetic energy that are referred to as regions of magnetic instability, and it's those that are going to cause Carrington Events.

It's going to be ugly going into the Solar Minimum, and ugly going out of it.

Power companies are now installing breakers in the power lines to prevent a Carrington Event from frying the whole grid at once. (around 47:45)

The simplest Faraday cage in the world is a microwave oven.  Cut the cord off of it and throw your two-way radios and battery chargers in it and close the door, and don't worry about it.

Also a galvanized metal trash can that has foil duct tape around it (to seal the lid gap or on the whole thing?), or an unpainted metal ammo can with foil lining the insides.

One big question is always, how would you know when to unseal the Faraday cage(s)?  Do you have to repeatedly seal and unseal, moving things in and out of them when it's safe, not safe,  safe, etc.

That's a good question Ilinda, given that events may play out over an extended period of time.  Since uncertainty in the future will be the new rule, it may be that we'll need to continue sheltering our electronics for a while.

Re: The Solar Grand Minimum: Crops to shift south

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyJYs_BCof4 @ around 1:30:

Adapt 2030 posted a video today saying that the U.S. corn belt needs to be shifted a minimum of 100 miles to the south of the current location.  This will not result in additional acreage for corn, as the newly acquired corn growing land will be offset by lost corn acreage in the northern tier.  Narrator says that regardless, corn will still be a stronger crop than wheat has been this year.

Furthermore, most of Canada's output of multiple crops is expected to go offline, pushing up global food costs just based upon that nation's withdrawal of commodities alone from the global marketplace.  These projections are based upon a 1o Celsius temperature drop in Canada, which is the equivalent of a 33.8o F decline.  A 2o drop would not allow crops to ripen at all before the first autumn frosts, let alone produce a reduced harvest.

As our crop output is reduced, global population on the current trajectory is expected to continue increasing (he hasn't read the Deagle report).

A report on Kansas and Oklahoma wheat crops says that the limit has now been reached on how cold temperatures can drop there and still allow wheat to be grown.  Narrator points out that we are only just beginning to enter the Solar Minimum, and have not yet descended deeply into it, pondering what will happen once we do.  44% of the wheat produced this year has been graded poor to very poor.  Output is expected to drop to only 10 bushels per acre in the near future.

Exacerbating the cold damage to crops is an on-going regional drought.  Please see screenshots #2 and 3 below.  Weather is so volatile there that in 10 hours recently the temperatures went from freezing to the triple digits.

Another report warns that another freeze could take place in the corn belt after June 1.  The further into summer that corn crops are pushed, the greater number of diseases and pests become a threat.

We're out of time.  You really need to start growing anything you can to practice right now, because food prices are going to increase from this point forward, and they're not going to come back down possibly until 2024 or 2025.

Narrator of this video says @ around 4:00 that ongoing railway disruptions in Canada due to extended winter are preventing farmers from getting crops to market on time.

Starting to keep a closer eye on fuel prices.  Will post this as baseline:

The nation of Brazil has virtually come to a halt due to:

*government drastically raising gas prices
*trucking industry unable to afford deliveries
*fuel running out at gas stations, some states being completely dry now
*very long waits in line for gas
*shut-down of public transit
*people unable to get to work
*closed highways
*truckers parking trucks wherever they run out of gas

Narrator says that MSM outside of Brazil is withholding this story from the public right now.  The average price of gas here in the U.S. as of Triple A's posting today is $2.969.

This article says that the Brazilian government has offered a 2-week 10% reduction of the price to get trucks moving again, after which it will go back up:
