From Part I:

The Military-Industrial Complex was originally coined by Eisenhower as the Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex.

Quote
We are in an electronic concentration camp.

Stats:
10,000 secret fusion centers located around the U.S. to spy on American citizens
1,271 secret agencies located inside the U.S.
1,931 mega-corporations are under secretive contractual relationships with the U.S. government
4,800,000 "known" individuals hold security clearances and are sworn to secrecy about them
854,000 hold top-secret government clearances, the next level up.
Millions of Americans inside the U.S. have signed secrecy oaths, via businesses, and can be jailed for violating the oaths.

With this number of people involved in the military-industrial complex, there becomes a likelihood that all of us know at least someone who may be connected to the behemoth of MIC and Deep State by employment.  It might be interesting to profile a couple of such people.

In my own life, I have known a person employed by Lockheed-Martin, as well as someone who works for the Federal Reserve.  A closer look:

My husband and I attended church back in the 1990's with a young man employed by Lockheed-Martin.  Here is a description:

*High IQ
*Master's degree in computer engineering
*Raised in the heartland in Missouri
*Well-adjusted individual
*Brought up in a cohesive family
*Youthful, in his 20's at the time
*Enjoyed playing video games and watching science fiction
*Married to a young woman who belonged to the church that both grew up in
*A very involved father of his own children
*Easy-going
*Honest
*Left traditional church of his upbringing to attend a non-denominational church with his wife
*Married to a woman who holds a master's degree and teaches at the college level

In addition, we also know someone who is an auditor and junior officer of the Federal Reserve.  He has married into our family, and here is his profile:

*In his 20's or early 30's was hired by the Federal Reserve as an auditor
*Comes from a cohesive family
*Attended Catholic parochial school
*Works to the point of exhaustion
*Easy-going and jokes about his work
*Admits to not feeling permanently attached to his job, wouldn't mind working elsewhere
*High IQ
*Likes to play number games to keep his mind sharp
*Enjoys science fiction
*Master's degree in accounting
*Highly ethical but non-religious as an adult
*Listens deeply to others and responds with empathy
*From the heartland of Oklahoma
*Spouse runs computer department of the bank that lends to other banks
*Son of a disciplinarian father

Both are younger middle-aged men now, but here is what they have in common:
*High IQ, needing lots of intellectual stimulation to be satisfied with work and leisure
*Traditional religious upbringing
*A degree of open-mindedness toward religion that has led them away from their traditional upbringings
*Pragmatic outlook which prevents them from being attracted to an ascension-oriented path
*Clean-cut
*Youthful appearance and outlook
*Love of video and other games
*Love of science fiction
*Leisure time devoted to recreational pursuits
*Family oriented
*Strong work-ethic but able to detach from work to maintain separate private life
*Non-authoritarian
*From the heartland
*Married to highly intelligent individuals capable of communicating with them on their intellectual level
*Members of Generation X (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_X)
*Parents remained insulated from the divorce culture and sexual revolution of the 1960's and 1970's
*Came of age in an era of non-universal military service
*From middle-class families

A few of these traits are common to their generational cohort, as explained by authors Strauss and Howe ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strauss%E2%80%93Howe_generational_theory ) and other sociologists:
*Achieving work-life balance
*Grew up with computers in the home, unlike those of us who are Baby Boomers
*Satisfaction with family and leisure time leading to absence of a mid-life crisis

A few of the traits of these individuals differ from the pervasive experience of their other generational cohorts:
*Traditional family background
*Parents more involved with the children than self-involved
*Probably a more benign, or at least less-cynical, view of government
*More cautious, selective and monogamous about relationships

How these real-life individuals differ from preconceived Hollywood images of employees of the Military-Industrial Complex:

*Youth vs. graying hair
*Non-authoritarian offspring of the Silent Generation and Boomers vs. authoritarians who were the offspring of the GI Generation (WWI and WWII)
*Working for stimulation and a paycheck rather than because of ideology / agenda
*Preferring leisurely distractions from work to deeper involvement with the Deep State
*Inability to include Deep State in their world view vs. being absorbed with Deep State

Compare:

With:

Remember Colonel Flagg?

Conclusion: Am guessing that younger MIC/Deep Staters find themselves as cogs in a machine, the entirety and dangers of which they are unable to envision except through television and the movies.

Herein may lie the Beast's Achilles Heel: If it is far too large to be seen and understood by younger employees, then it is unsustainable, as we may well soon see under global stresses.
