One comment:  "I speak Italian.. they are saying what you'd expect a rational media to say. Not like in USA where they don't even air these things. "Possible small second sun" "records from Sumer and tenth planet" , "every 3600 years", They mentioned China sighting.... and such. Truly the pictures equal the talk BUT they aren't jumping to conclusions. It would seem that the rest of the world is getting some notification and the US is blanketed in darkness. No provisions left for US IF US citizens wake up."

Seems many countries are now discussing the possibility of X but one major one is not.

Yes, as far as I know, the last time there was actual news about Planet X was in 1983.
I would have to do some digging to find the link. Marshall brought that forward some years ago...

Barb,
PX was discovered by the IRAS satellite in 1983 and was quite the news item for a day or 2 then TPTB shut down the info..."Nothing to see here..Please move along.....". That was the last anyone heard about PX in the US until a few months from now when the ground swell of information will be too great to discredit any longer and visual proof will be in the skies overhead!

Thanks for the reminder on that info, Hammerhead...  :)
Oh yeah "Nothing to see here..."

To whom it may concern I had just posted a Russian language video about Nibiru but I then deleted it.
While reading some of the descriptions in English it had some content which didn't seem acceptable, decided to delete and then take a better look at.
I may repost it,

BBC about Planet X. Some excerpts of the documentary. At the very end some American scientist saying [it's just a Kuiber Belt Object, get over it!]
Odd way to end the video...

"The hunt for Planet X is back on..."

Astronomer insists there is a Planet X four times the size of Earth lurking at the edge of our solar system
Distortion to orbits of asteroids beyond Pluto imply mystery planet is tugging at them, claims astronomer

PUBLISHED: 06:09 EST, 23 May 2012 | UPDATED: 19:36 EST, 23 May 2012

The evidence for 'Planet X' - the mysterious hypothesised planet on the edge of our solar system - has taken a new turn thanks to the mathematics of a noted astronomer.
Rodney Gomes, an astronomer at the National Observatory of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, says the irregular orbits of small icy bodies beyond Neptune imply that a planet four times the size of Earth is swirling around our sun in the fringes of the solar system.

Planet X - perhaps mis-named now that Pluto has been demoted to a dwarf planet - has been widely hypothesised for decade, but has never been proven.
Gomes measured the orbits of 92 Kuiper belt objects - small bodies and dwarf planets - and said that six objects appeared to be tugged off-course compared to their expected orbits.

He told astronomers at the American Astronomical Society on Tuesday that the most likely reason for the irregular orbits was a 'planetary-mass solar companion' - a distant body of planet size that is powerful enough to move the Kuiper belt objects.
He suggested the planet would be four times bigger than Earth - around the size of Nepture and would be 140 billion miles from the sun, or about 1,500 times further than the Earth.

Alternatively an object the size of Mars on an irregular orbit that bought it to within five billion miles of the sun - close to Neptune's orbit - could be the solution.
However, due to the distances involved, it will be tough to for Earthbound astronomers to catch a glimpse of the hypothetical newest member of our solar system.
Even non-planet Pluto is hard to spot thanks to the distances involved.

While other astronomers are on the astronomical fence, they have applauded his methods.
Rory Barnes, from the University of Washington told National Geographic  that Gomes 'has laid out a way to determine how such a planet could sculpt parts of our solar system.
'So while, yes, the evidence doesn't exist yet, I thought the bigger point was that he showed us that there are ways to find that evidence.
'I don't think he really has any evidence that suggests it is out there.'
Hal Levison, from the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado, said: 'It seems surprising to me that a [solar] companion as small as Neptune could have the effect he sees.
'[But] I know Rodney, and I'm sure he did the calculations right.'
The previous ninth planet, Pluto, is one of the largest of the Kuiper belt dwarf planets, at some 1,400 miles wide.
It got downgraded by the International Astronomical Union in 2006 for failing to meet all the criteria of a 'planet', namely that its mass is not sufficient enough to clear its orbit of surrounding objects.

I had posted about Dr. Rodney Gomes of Brazil last year, not sure where. His work on an undiscovered perturber on the outskirts of the solar system.
Now National Geographic did an article on his work! Posting this here and also in another spot on the Board,
Yowbarb   May 2012 - not sure if this got posted!

New Planet Found in Our Solar System?
Odd orbits of remote objects hint at unseen world, new calculations suggest.

Richard A. Lovett in Timberline Lodge, Oregon
for National Geographic News
Published May 11, 2012

An as yet undiscovered planet might be orbiting at the dark fringes of the solar system, according to new research.
Too far out to be easily spotted by telescopes, the potential unseen planet appears to be making its presence felt by disturbing the orbits of so-called Kuiper belt objects, said Rodney Gomes, an astronomer at the National Observatory of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.Kuiper belt objects are small icy bodies—including some dwarf planets—that lie beyond the orbit of Neptune.

Once considered the ninth planet in our system, the dwarf planet Pluto, for example, is one of the largest Kuiper belt objects, at about 1,400 miles (2,300 kilometers) wide. Dozens of the other objects are hundreds of miles across, and more are being discovered every year.
(See "Three New 'Plutos'? Possible Dwarf Planets Found.")
What's intriguing, Gomes said, is that, according to his new calculations, about a half dozen Kuiper belt objects—including the remote body known as Sedna—are in strange orbits compared to where they should be, based on existing solar system models. (Related: "Pluto Neighbor Gets Downsized.")
The objects' unexpected orbits have a few possible explanations, said Gomes, who presented his findings Tuesday at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Timberline Lodge, Oregon.
"But I think the easiest one is a planetary-mass solar companion"—a planet that orbits very far out from the sun but that's massive enough to be having gravitational effects on Kuiper belt objects.
Mystery Planet a Captured Rogue?
For the new work, Gomes analyzed the orbits of 92 Kuiper belt objects, then compared his results to computer models of how the bodies should be distributed, with and without an additional planet.
If there's no distant world, Gomes concludes, the models don't produce the highly elongated orbits we see for six of the objects.
How big exactly the planetary body might be isn't clear, but there are a lot of possibilities, Gomes added.
Based on his calculations, Gomes thinks a Neptune-size world, about four times bigger than Earth, orbiting 140 billion miles (225 billion kilometers) away from the sun—about 1,500 times farther than Earth—would do the trick.
But so would a Mars-size object—roughly half Earth's size—in a highly elongated orbit that would occasionally bring the body sweeping to within 5 billion miles (8 billion kilometers) of the sun.
Gomes speculates that the mystery object could be a rogue planet that was kicked out of its own star system and later captured by the sun's gravity. (See "'Nomad' Planets More Common Than Thought, May Orbit Black Holes.")
Or the putative planet could have formed closer to our sun, only to be cast outward by gravitational encounters with other planets.
However, actually finding such a world would be a challenge.
To begin with, the planet might be pretty dim. Also, Gomes's simulations don't give astronomers any clue as to where to point their telescopes—"it can be anywhere," he said.
No Smoking Gun
Other astronomers are intrigued but say they'll want a lot more proof before they're willing to agree that the solar system—again—has nine planets. (Also see "Record Nine-Planet Star System Discovered?")
"Obviously, finding another planet in the solar system is a big deal," said Rory Barnes, an astronomer at the University of Washington. But, he added, "I don't think he really has any evidence that suggests it is out there."
Instead, he added, Gomes "has laid out a way to determine how such a planet could sculpt parts of our solar system. So while, yes, the evidence doesn't exist yet, I thought the bigger point was that he showed us that there are ways to find that evidence."
Douglas Hamilton, an astronomer from the University of Maryland, agrees that the new findings are far from definitive.
"What he showed in his probability arguments is that it's slightly more likely. He doesn't have a smoking gun yet."
And Hal Levison, an astronomer at the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado, says he isn't sure what to make of Gomes's finding.
"It seems surprising to me that a [solar] companion as small as Neptune could have the effect he sees," Levison said.
But "I know Rodney, and I'm sure he did the calculations right."

It appears to me that as far as recognition of the existence of Planet X and events in progress, the US is way behind the rest of the world in open discussion regarding this reality.  In some other countries, they discuss this coming event on national television.  It is so frustrating that our government, the one who is supposed to be the example setter and leader of the world, the country with the supposedly most "freedoms" has determined that we do not have the right to know what is going to happen.  I think that they are serving their own best interests, and that is why we are not officially told.

Yes... true...
and interesting how things are starting to line up... What I had posted in February (a couple of posts back.)  Un astrónomo de Brasil afirmó delante de la Sociedad Astronómica Americana en Timberland, de la presencia de un planeta errante localizado detrás de Neptuno.

What this basically means:   An astronomer of Brazil stated in front of the American Astronomical Society at Timberland, of the presence of a [rogue] [unknown] planet wandering located behind Neptune.
