Just a reminder, Ebay owner PayPal.  And Paypal just set their protection guideline within your credit card requirement.
Paypal is just a processing unit, they don't protect your money.

To Whom It May Concern
You can buy land on Ebay.
I can't vouch for any particular sellers yet but here are lots of ads.
Some apparently only take a few hundred dollars to get started.
Once (not on Ebay) I saw an ad and grabbed five acres in WA state for a hundred dollars earnest money. $330 month.  There was a requirement to build a house and also a balloon payment a couple years down the road but the idea is, it is possible to get some survival land. Lived there with my kids for awhile.
I guess half the battle is sellers or zoning where there are hardly any restrictions. We don't need someone telling us we cannot dig a hole and put a shelter down in there or a limit on how many people can be living on the land. It needs to be wide open.

Also, when buying on Ebay a high ticket item be certain the seller is a verified one so you are protected should something go wrong.

Susan, that's right.  Buyer B Ware.
On Ebay they do have stats to look at and there must be some way to verify before purchasing...

If you'd rather not do an auction, try www.sportsmansguide.com for a case (12 meals) of MRE's at $69.97, at $62.97 (w/$29/yr. Buyer's Club) or $61.40 (w/Buyer's Club and Sportsman's Guide Visa). These are everyday prices, and
shipping usually is not outrageous... Realize, that these too require at least a water source and they are not considered to be long-term
nutritional sources, more for your B-O-B/Scoot-Paks to compliment your S.O.S/Mainstay bars, better would be the Emergency Essentials dehydrated/freeze-dried and your local canned goods, best, of course, will be all your fresh Urban Harvest/Garden sources...

Can you post this info in this Topic, so we can add it to the collection of sites which sell food and supplies. Valuable info.
Also, that way we keep this particular one for Ebay.

I would grab these myself but the person who I coordinated on buying things for our household - well she is snoring away asleep. So this is just a learning experience for me. Posting it here in case someone reading it can grab it.

Question & Answer Answered On

Q:  what does the inspection date 1/2015 mean ? Mar-22-12
A:   What that means is that once the mre's are made, the inspection date is the date the box would be inspected to make sure that it is still good. Military puts a three year shelf life on mre's, and then they determine if the case is still good from there....these were just made....freshest cases you can find. hope that helps

Several Ebay auctions I have seen are cash on the barrelhead
and I have seen what looks to me like good deals...
When a person browses the auction items on Ebay he can verify the status of the Seller.
