Tectonic plate movements
« on: June 10, 2011, 07:40:36 PM »
Some plate movements are documented in the Zetatalk weekly newsletter of June 12, 2011 (released early) at http://www.zetatalk.com/newsletr/issue245.htm  for four regions: North Africa and Middle East,  India and Bangladesh,  China,  and North America.

[start excerpts]
As the African Plate starts to roll and drop, this would begin to separate the Straits of Gibraltar and stretch the distance between the Egyptian side of the Red Sea from the Sinai. It would also start to roll the Arabian Plate, where the pointed top of this plate cuts from west to east, stressing the Eurasian Plate above this slicing point. Is this happening? We find a sinkhole in Eskisehir, Turkey, where sinkholes are virtually unknown. As the pointed top of the Arabian Plate moves from west to east, it would pull this area, stretching it, the most common cause of sinkholes. Dropping to Cairo we find sinkholes also, not far from the river Nile. Cairo also does not prone to sinkholes, but as the Red Sea pulls apart, this area would indeed be stretched and river bottoms are a thin place on the plate, thus drooping to form a river bottom in the first place. Dropping further along the African Plate, we arrive at Pemba, a tiny island just off the east coast of Africa. Pemba has a very low elevation, 50 meters the highest point, but this would not account for the seawater now flooding homes and fields. Africa's Rift Valley widens as Africa rolls, the whole southeastern side loosing its base as it does so, drooping. Pemba is just to the east of the Rift Valley.

The Zetas have called the plunging of the Indo-Australian Plate the brake point holding all other plate movement back. As the plate tips up at the New Zealand side, it plunges India under the Himalayas, allowing the Pacific to compress and the Sunda Plate tongue holding Indonesia to plunge under the curve of the Indo-Australian Plate. Has the India side of the plate been plunging? Bangledesh and Kuttanad on the tip of India are sinking, and in the eastern Himalayas, mountain building is taking place, heaving river bottoms and preventing drainage. Suddenly, and with scant rain, Jorhat is under water!

Moving east along the globe we find the line across the South China coastline, where the plate tongue holding Indonesia is bent down to be pushed under the curve in the Indo-Australian Plate. Ground fractures when such a bend in the rock occurs. Draw a line from where the Philippine Plate is being pushed against the coastline of China, west, and the line runs through Guangzhou and City of Guiyang! The Philippine Plate is tilting, pushing under the Philippine Islands, as part of the compression of the Pacific.

Moving further east to the Americas, where the N American continent is under a bow stress - the Aleutian Islands being pulled toward the tip of Mexico which is tugging west. What does an earthworm plague in Cincinnati, a 100 year old house suddenly dropping into a sinkhole in Clinton, Iowa, and sinkholes in Quebec have in common? All these spots are along rivers! Earthworms will come to the surface to mate, and signal each other by a type of vibration called drumming. Rock under stress also vibrates. Certainly for a house that has stood for 100 years to suddenly find its foundation infirm is suspect. Ground movement is the likely culprit, and the Mississippi will be ripped open during the coming New Madrid adjustment, and Cincinnati on the Ohio River will also be affected. Clearly, the Seaway is being pulled open, and to the west of this rip we have British Columbia, where a landslide occurred at Hope. All of these seemingly unrelated incidents are related.

More plate movements are documented in the Zetatalk weekly newsletter of June 19, 2011 (released early) at http://www.zetatalk.com/newsletr/issue246.htm .   Here are a few snippets.

[start excerpts]
Pressure on the Andes has begun, as part of the S American roll. A rift in the Earth 6 miles long and 3 miles wide opened up in Chile, spewing ash.
...
a river nearby began boiling from the heat of the Earth. Boiling rivers are not new, in rock lying above areas subject to intense subduction. This part of the Andes is a point where pressure to push over the Nazca Plate just to the west is intense.
...
Boiling rivers were reported in Velikovsky's book Worlds in Collision, during prior pole shifts.

The traditions of the Indians retain the memory of this boiling of the water in river and sea. On the North Pacific coast of America the tribes insist that the ocean boiled: The Indians of the Southern Ute tribe in Colorado record in their legends that the rivers boiled. Jewish tradition, as preserved in the rabbinical sources, declares that the mire at the bottom of the Sea of Passage was heated.
...
[regarding the parts of the "7 of 10" sequence of earth changes:]  The 1st scenario involved a tipping of the Indio-Australian Plate such that the border with Pakistan sinks by 10 feet. This happened during the last half of 2010. Then the 2nd scenario where the Sunda Plate, the plate tongue holding Indonesia, would be pushed down under the curve of the Indo-Australian Plate. This has been ongoing since December 23, 2010. Then the 3rd scenario where the Philippine and Mariana Plates would fold, compressing the Pacific. This was evident by February 20, 2011 and additional evidence is now in hand with flooding in Kyushu. These Japanese Islands, on the southern tip of Japan, are actually on the Okinawa platelet, which would lose support as the Philippine Plate tips. Note the date, June 12, 2011.
...
Heavy Rain Continues in Western Japan
June 12, 2006
http://www.japantoday.com/category/national/view/weather-agency-warns
A low pressure system that developed into a rain front over the East China Sea passed over the Kyushu region in southwestern Japan. It has suspended services on the Kyushu Shinkansen bullet train line. Around 200 mm of rainfall is forecast to fall in southern Kyushu.

...
The 4th scenario is the S America roll. As the top part of S America pulls west while the long spine of the Andes resists being pulled over the Nazca and Cocos Plates, it bends a bit on the eastern side. The bay at Buenos Aires will split open further during the pole shift, per the Zetas, and flooding in Brazil has already been attributed to this stretch. Could this include Guyana, where sudden flooding without rain has afflicted a river front town there? Note the date on this article - June 12, 2011.

Floods Hit Kwakwani
June 12, 2011
http://www.stabroeknews.com/2011/media/photos/06/12/residents-paddle
FloodFlood-ravaged Massara village in the Rupununi was reduced to an island. Residents paddle in front of flooded-out homes at Lamp Island, Berbice River at Kwakwani.
...
The African roll is the 5th in the 7 of 10 scenarios, and has caused sinkholes in Cairo recently, and now there are yet other signs that Africa is starting its roll too. An inactive volcano, Nabro, suddenly erupted, accompanied by a swath of earthquakes in the region where the Red Sea is pulling apart at Yemen. Nabro is so ancient that there is no recorded eruption. What is so severe that it is erupting? Note the date on the article - June 12, 2011.

Strong Earthquakes are Setting off a Powerful Volcanic Eruption in Eritrea
June 12, 2011
http://eastafro.com/Post/2011/06/13/strong-earthquakes-are-setting-off-a-powerful
During the late afternoon and evening of June 12 2011, a series of moderate earthquakes struck the Afambo, Eritrea area. Based on the earthquake pattern and the locations of the epicenter, volcano activity seemed imminent.
...
Sinking Cities

The Zetas have predicted that ultimately Jakarta will lose 80 feet in sea level elevation, Singapore closer to 60 feet, Bangkok and Manila 40 feet, and Hong Kong 20 feet during the sinking of the Sunda Plate, a 7 of 10 scenario. Where delays have set in, proceeding more slowly than expected, sinking on the Sunda Plate is occurring. The Zetas were asked to address the extensive flooding that Singapore is experiencing lately.

...
Despite the presence of the monsoon rains, Singapore is sinking. The sinking process is first that the tides appear higher, and roll inland further. The second sign is that lowlands drain more slowly.
...
despite dykes and pumping action, basements or below ground parking will become permanently flooded, beyond what any type of pumping can overcome. This will be blamed on recent rains for as long as the public can tolerate such excuses.

...
South Jakarta submerged 1 meter high flood that do not subside.

...
Streets at various locations in Bangkok. Sinking underwater.

Geólogos aún no encuentran explicación.

"Paraguay: "opened" the earth
Friday August 5, 2011 9:59:10 |

The phenomenon occurred in an area that is two kilometers from the town of Altos, in central Paraguay, near San Bernardino. The crack width of 15 meters out heat and smoke. Geologists are not yet explained.

Last night a lot of smoke coming out of the cracks that formed in a line of about 70 meters, 20 meters deep and 15 inches wide. The settlers threw dead branches to the wells and they burn quickly.

The number of cracks are located 1500 meters from the center of Altos, in the fraction Hydrangea, the company's Loteadora. It's a new fraction that is not inhabited, at 300 meters is a villa under construction CONAVI and near a stream. It is the road to Loma Grande.

The place could also be located 400 meters from the main route Altos. Previously the area was a quarry. The phenomenon took people amid celebrations for the community.

A neighbor had gone on Wednesday to seek remedy weed at the scene, told his wife he saw the cracks, but not given importance. Then returned to the site yesterday and was struck by the smoke of the place, so the daughter said the mayor of Mountain View, Alberto Ojeda, from the observed. This, in turn, made known to the police yesterday, late afternoon, spoke at the site.

Information quickly spread among the people who came to the place as curious. Police cordoned off the area within a radius of 1.000 meters to avoid unfortunate consequences, since the ground was shifting. To reach the place today geologists to study the case in the field.

In geology senior notes that part of the arc of Asunción, which consists of volcanic and metamorphic rocks are very old. It has been very active for the existence of large flaws, which are fractures suffered by the crust. If fractures are profound, may lead to gas outlet ducts or volcanic lava."

I am not the expert on techtonic plate movement but it seems like an amazing amount of earthquake activity there in the area pf the Santa Cruz Islands right near a plate boundary.  There were a half-dozen after shocks in the Santa Cruz Islands area. Aftershocks from the 8 pointer quake last night. In a little over 24 hours there have been about 60 aftershocks.
A 5.0 in Sumatra as well...

Good catch, Yowbarb.  Notice that the cluster of 'quakes is right at the tip of a bump-and-notch of tectonic plate boundaries.  That configuration must be stopping movement of the plates, and so pressure is building up to the breaking point.

Could be, more 'quakes and serious movement to come.

Jim, thanks for the reply...
I wasn't aware of the bump and notch...that could get far worse, it's true...
Quakes and some tsunami dangers, as well...
