Mermaids!!  Ch 120 EDT   more shows following...

http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows
8:00 PM

Mermaids: The Body Found - The Extended Cut

10:00 PM   Mermaids: The New Evidence

11:00 PM   Mermaids: The Body Found - The Extended Cut

1:00 AM      Mermaids: The New Evidence

The Discovery Channel provided a press release last year prior to the first show's premiere that contained a disclaimer that the show was a work of fiction.

Good Grief!
I didn't see any such disclaimer when they presented the two specials...how odd!!

My wife is the one who actually found the disclaimer yesterday after watching both shows for the first time Sunday evening. I did come across the following story from last year which directly quotes Animal Planet about the program's fictitious nature.

Found it.

My daughter who watched it with me feels much of the presentation is true and then they were forced to discredit themselves and/or say it was a fiction.
