Amazing article if true. Pakistan and the USA facing off ?
The quotes below are not the full article.

“The scene could have been scripted in a Hollywood action thriller: For two hours at the end of last month in Lahore, U.S. diplomat Raymond Davis was closely pursued by two visibly armed men on a motorbike. He noticed them tailing him from a restaurant to an ATM, and through the crowded streets of Pakistan’s second [largest] city. They were close by when, in a crowded intersection, Davis produced his own handgun and fired seven shots.

The diplomat was apparently a crack shot, and all seven bullets found their mark, killing his two pursuers. Davis then called for back-up, and a four-wheel-drive vehicle raced onto the scene, striking a Pakistani bystander who was killed by the impact. But the people in the vehicle, whose identities remain unknown, escaped from the scene having failed to retrieve Davis, who was later arrested nearby.”

The combat skills exhibited by Davis, along with documentation taken from him after his arrest, prove, according to this report, his being a member of the feared American Task Force 373 (TF373) black operations unit currently operating in the Afghan War Theater and Pakistani tribal areas comprised of US Military Special Forces Soldiers, CIA spies and freelance mercenaries.

Further information about Davis discovered by the Times of India includes:

“According to records from the Pentagon, Davis is a former Special Forces soldier who left the army in August 2003 after 10 years of service. A Virginia native, he served with infantry divisions prior to joining the 3rd Special Forces Group in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 1994, he was part of the U.N. peacekeeping force in Macedonia. His record includes several awards and medals, including for good conduct.

Most ominous in this SVR report, though, is Pakistan’s ISI stating that top-secret CIA documents found in Davis’s possession point to his, and/or TF373, providing to al Qaeda terrorists “nuclear fissile material” and “biological agents” they claim are to be used against the United States itself in order to ignite an all-out war in order to reestablish the West’s hegemony over a Global economy that is warned is just months away from collapse.

Fearing that the conflict over Davis may lead to open warfare, the Pakistanis were quick to let the Americans know they would not come out any conflict unscathed with their firing yesterday of their new Hatf-VII nuclear cruise missile (also called Babur after the 16th-century Muslim ruler who founded the Mughal Empire) that Major General Athar Abbas said “…can carry strategic and conventional warheads, has stealth capabilities, is a low-flying, terrain-hugging missile with high manoeuvrability, pinpoint accuracy and radar avoidance features.”

awesome Jim. This guy will make you sit on the edge of your seat. The use of
Orbital Weapons platforms are in the here and now realm of reality. Who is to say
that Russia does not have something up there. It would certainly go hand in hand
with Biblical prophecy concerning the fact that " He will make fire come down
from Heaven in the sight of men "............... death from above. >:(

The first book I read regarding PX was an online ebook called "know the future, Bible prophecy". It states that the kickoff event for the 7 years tribulation BEGINS with the destruction of Damascus Syria.

Syria: the wildcard to peace or war in the Middle East?
http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2011/10/04/syria-threatens-to-attack-israel-if-nato-intervenes-in-internal-conflict/

October 4, 2011 – DAMASCUS -  Syrian President Bashar Assad on Tuesday threatened to set fire to the Middle East, and especially Israel, if NATO attacks Syria, the Iranian Fars news agency reported. In a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Assad said: “If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will need not more than six hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv.” Davutoglu reportedly conveyed a message of warning from the US to Assad. The Iranian report has not been verified by other sources. According to the Fars news agency, the Syrian president stressed that Damascus will also call on Hezbollah in Lebanon to launch a fierce rocket and missile attack on Israel, such that Israeli intelligence could never imagine. All these events will happen in three hours, but in the second three hours, Iran will attack the US warships in the Persian Gulf and the US and European interests will be targeted simultaneously,” Assad said. –Ynet News

I always struggled with the tribulations. Its difficult to find an answer as to its depth. Some say its already happened. For every statement revealing a truth about it there is one to the contrary. Then there is 2 tribulations, one for Israel and one for the whole earth.

Is WW 3 a for sure war or a rumor of war ? I'm hoping for a rumor myself.

I don't know if its mentioned elsewhere on the TH but this alleged Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi US ambassador on US soil seems to be saying to me "Bring it on!"

I watched a TV programme on the History Channel (i think) a wee while ago with someone high up in the US govt can't remember who may have been Rumsfeld saying that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes he or one of his brought in Imam's is the anti christ figure and it wasn't just Rumsfeld a whole host of them (not just politicians but academics aswell) were saying how he, Ahmadinejad is trying to bring about Armageddon. I know a lot of people here and elsewhere think the Arab spring was people just wanting their freedom etc and i do think a lot of the protestors were protesting for that but i think it was all planned and to me the recent attacks on the Coptic Christians in Egypt may not be a smoking gun but close enough with the final prize/goal - Israel. The Iranian plot is just another step closer to war but as we all know Western countries can't afford a war hmmmmm  ???

Be aware there is another side to this alleged plot to kill the Saudi US Ambassador on US soil. During the past 24 hours I've watched 2 interviews of Pepe Escobar who strongly implies this 'plot' may be just one more false flag...

"...
The fast and furious plot to occupy Iran
Tehran would have to be terminally foolish to try to snuff out an ambassador on US soil, author says.

No one ever lost money betting on the dull predictability of the US government. Just as Occupy Wall Street is firing imaginations all across the spectrum - piercing the noxious revolving door between government and casino capitalism - Washington brought us all down to earth, sensationally advertising an Iranian cum Mexican cartel terror plot straight out of The Fast and the Furious movie franchise. The potential victim: Adel al-Jubeir, the ambassador in the US of that lovely counter-revolutionary Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

FBI Director Robert Mueller insisted the Iran-masterminded terror plot "reads like the pages of a Hollywood script". It does. And quite a sloppy script at that. Fast and Furious duo Paul Walker/Vin Diesel wouldn't be caught dead near it.

The good guys in this Washington production are the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). In the words of Attorney General Eric Holder, they uncovered "a deadly plot directed by factions of the Iranian government to assassinate a foreign Ambassador on US soil with explosives".
. . .
Predictably, the proverbial torrent of US "officials" came out with guns blazing, spinning everything in sight. An alarmed Pentagon will be increasing surveillance over the Quds Force and "Iran’s actions" in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf. Former US ambassadors stated that, "it's an attack on the United States to attack this ambassador". Washington is about to impose even more sanctions against Iran; and Washington is urgently taking the matter to the UN Security Council.

What next? An R2P ("responsibility to protect") resolution ordering NATO to protect every House of Saud minion across the world by bombing Iran into regime change?

Ali Akbar Javanfekr, a spokesman for Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, at least introduced a little bit of common sense. "I think the US government is busy fabricating a new scenario and history has shown both the US government and the CIA have a lot of experience in fabricating these scenarios ... I think their goal is to reach the American public. They want to take the public's mind off the serious domestic problems they're facing these days and scare them with fabricated problems outside the country." Iran has not even established yet that these two characters are actually Iranian citizens.

The Iranian government - which prides itself on a logical approach to diplomacy - would have to have been inoculated with a terminal Stuxnet-style foolishness virus to behave in such a counterproductive manner, by targeting a high-profile foreign policy adviser to King Abdullah on American soil. The official Iranian news agency IRNA described the plot as "America's new propaganda scenario" against Iran.

As for the Washington mantra that "Iran has been insinuating itself into many of the struggles in the Middle East", that's undiluted Saudi propaganda. In fact it's the House of Saud who's been conducting the fierce counter-revolution that has smashed any possibility of an Arab Spring in the Persian Gulf - from the invasion and repression of Bahrain to the rash pre-emption of protests inside Saudi Arabia's Shia-dominated eastern provinces..."

According to John Hagees book 'Jerusalem Countdown', Iran is the second largest
producer of Oil in OPEC. But then, the tension between Iran and 'others' is not
about Oil.

There are advisors in Iran to help with their Nuclear Program and if any nation
destroys or attacks nuclear facilities it will probably kill those advisors. Russia and
other nations will not be happy about that.

As a side note, Afghanistan does not have oil but it has been recently announced
that there are a lot of Rare Earth Elements there which are critical to high
technology applications..................... Not sure if the U.S. is going to take
advantage of that fact or not; doesn't look they are going to set up shop for
mining though.

" The country could become, according to a Pentagon memo, the “Saudi Arabia of
lithium.” Just as interesting, there is niobium, used to make superconducting
steel. "

Don't know if this post really fits in this topic but it is of interest me thinks
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-15635476
"Sarkozy called Israeli PM Netanyahu 'liar'"

"French President Nicolas Sarkozy called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "liar" in remarks to US President Barack Obama overheard by journalists.

"I can't stand him any more, he's a liar," Mr Sarkozy said in French.

"You may be sick of him, but me, I have to deal with him every day," Mr Obama replied.

The exchange at the G20 summit was quoted by a French website, Arret sur Images, and confirmed by other media.

The remarks - during a private conversation - were overheard by a few journalists last week but were not initially reported, the BBC's Christian Fraser in Paris says.

Journalists at the bilateral press conference had been handed translation boxes but had been told not to plug in their headphones until the backroom conversation had finished. But those who did heard the revealing comments.

For several days there was media silence in France about the exchange - a decision had been taken not to embarrass the French president, our correspondent says.

A correspondent for Le Monde newspaper referred to the conversation without the quotes.

But Israeli newspapers have reported it in full.

It is said Mr Obama was taking Mr Sarkozy to task for voting in favour of the Palestinian bid for full membership of the UN cultural organisation, Unesco, a bid that was approved despite American opposition.

The remarks indicate a breakdown of trust with the Israeli leader which could have wider implications for the Middle East peace process, our correspondent says."

Interesting news tidbit, to say the least.  I will be the first to admit, I've never had a really great grasp on mideast politics.  But I would say that your post was very informative.  Makes you feel like you got a little bit of real inside info.
