Do any of you get the catalog sent to your home from Emergency Essentials?  I get it and I am going to take it to WM and compare the prices to see how much cheaper WM is if at all.  This catalog is available free and you can sign up for it on their website.  they have everything, including Losat pills, BOBS, and all kinds of food and other supplies.

I don't get this catalog.  What is the website to sign up for it?  Let us know which one is the cheapest.  Thanks.

Steady, that beprepared.com has pretty good sales every month. This is where the bulk of my stored food comes from. We do a lot of camping/climbing/backpacking. I also use this food for snacks & meals (the dehydrated stuff). It's a lot more tasty than the wise meals. Of course, anytime you freeze dry anything it has a bitter aftertaste. Nature of the beast.

From http://www.secretsofurbansurvival.com/1293/internet_trunk_lines_cut_real_inflation_over_8_percent/

" 4 major underwater internet trunk lines were “accidentally” cut within days of one another, disrupting internet and voice connectivity across much of Africa. "

I met an elderly woman recently who talks non-stop about the imminent cataclysms;  she asked me to go to Texas with her;   she claims to receive messages from God;  my dowsing tool says No, she does not;  I declined the invitation.

I attended an English Country Dance last night;  chatted  briefly with a nice elderly couple;  I mentioned 2012 Earth changes;  they expressed complete disbelief;  I did not pursue the topic.

Yesterday I paid $3.89 a gallon for gas in Salem Oregon, and that was one of the cheapest gas stations in town.  A couple of other stations are $4.17 a gallon.

Thursday I went to the store and last week, I could get something 10 for $10, Thursday the same thing was only 4 for $5!  A half gallon milk last week was $1.39, Thursday it was $2.09!  Gas went from $3.88 to $3.95 overnight.  I was so mad at the store that I was even more determined to raise even more of my own food.  I felt almost like I could boycott the store's prices by not needing them!  (I'm still a little mad even today!)

a quick calculation reveals that my local garage, converted from litres to US gallons and Pounds to dollars would be retailing Diesel at $8.75 per US gallon

Diesel is $4.10 in my town.  I don't have to get it, so I don't usually pay attention to its price.
