Itchy skin is most commonly caused by candida overgrowth.  Before ruling in something more exotic, might want to evaluate recent sugar intake, including from fruit, and try a break from sugar.  Fungi invade us in two stages: The non-virulent first stage, in which our immune system is able to cope with it.  The second stage, if it progresses, becomes virulent by forming hyphae (same as mycelium strands in innoculated garden soil).  This is when severe itching and migraines occur.

Possible supplements to consider for itching caused by fungus / candida (and they are very effective combined, especially with sugar under control):

Capryllic acid from coconut oil, palm fruit oil and butter, up to 2,000 mg daily worked up to slowly as tolerated

Biotin 1,000 mg daily max.  Both of these first two supplements prevent fungi from transforming into the more virulent hyphae stage.  Could get away with just one of these, unless you like sweets as much as I do...

Broad spectrum probiotic (multiple strains): microbes should be numbered in the billions, not millions

I recently read that fungi, including mushrooms, colonize locations that are contaminated or diseased in nature's effort to clean and mend - never thought of it that way, so now I have a little more respect for the process, and for the delicate balance of fungi in the body.

Am including a diagram of a simple fungus morphing into the hyphae stage.  Just looking at all the little ticklish arms makes me feel like scratching :)

R.R. Book thanks for posting about the capryllic acid and other ideas...
A person could try that as a first method...

1)  A basic link about fungal infections and it includes the hyphae.

2) One site with info about

This is a link to an article 2008, which contains various theories including a link between GM foods and the "Morgollons" symptoms. Also mentioned, some kind of substance from plants, fungi too:

Aged garlic extract is another good option for that crawly skin feeling.  Not sure about its place in the Morgellons arsenal though.

Many Morgellons sufferers have become researchers themselves, one being Jan Smith.  Her website, I think now former site, was one of the best, absolutely:  www.morgellonsexposed.com but she had problems sometimes at renewal time when hackers tried to take over her site and post porn.  Finally, she may have grown weary of dealing with her ailment, and with the hackers too.

She had posted a mountain of references and information about the history of genetic tinkering with organisms, including slime molds, from whom some of the DNA is thought to be now incorporated into the Morgellons organisms, which BTW seem to be able to continue to morph and mutate.  Many, many of these victims believe that genetic engineering is at the core in the creation of Morgellons Disease.  They could be right.  Jan even posted pictures of some of the "devices" that she personally removed from her body, including some which had numbers and letters "etched" in/on them, and IIRC, she even found in her internet research of patents, that some of the objects she removed from her body in her quest to rid herself of Morgellons, match pictures or sketches of those in patent applications.  We have so much to learn.

Not a bad idea. People could try it.

Yowbarb Note: RE my previous post.
In the woman's post on curezone, in which she got rid of Morgollons, she referrred to the SCD, the SPECIFIC CARBOHYDRATE DIET so here is one link on it.
I posted this also in the Topic,
CANCER CURES: A collection of natural substances recommended to prevent/cure cancer
...
http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/p/about-the-diet/  the SCD

According to a brief search on my own, the ketosis diet is more powerful for preventing, kicking or surviving cancer than other similar diets or those with overlapping foods and concepts...

The SCD is supposedly easier to stick with...

The doctors call it DOP (delusions of parisitosis), but Morgellons is a real disease and my brother suffered from it. We bought a cheap microscope (only 20 bucks!) on EBAY and the fibers were exactly like the ones on the internet and they were VERY alive. We beat it, and here is how: He used Borax - 1 cup - in his bathwater each day, he used a special soap that I bought on the internet (sorry, can't remember the name but it's only a symptom reliever anyway), and most importantly, he megadosed on silver colloid. Now listen, DO NOT FALL for the ionic crap. It is the COLLOID, not the ionic, that will beat Morgellons. We tried the ionic at twice the price (fell for the hype) and it had no effect. I bought him a ton of things, had him taking homeopathic boron, top of the line chelation, using tons of products to soothe the itching, but it was two things that actually BEAT Morgellons: A decent quality Colloidal Silver (2 teaspoons every 15 minutes for 4 hours - and no, it will NOT turn you blue), COMBINED with a dewormer. The first time we thought we beat it, he only used the silver, and it came back several weeks later. The time he really beat it, he convinced a doctor to give him a script for dewormer. If he had not been able to get the doc to write the script, he was going to go to a feed and seed store and buy a dog dewormer. Yes, it is the same crap, more or less, and no, it will not kill you. You use it just as you would give it to your dog, pound for pound. The swinish doctors will not diagnose your condition. They go to their script: Delusions of Parasitosis. You are on your own, my friend, against black-ops nano-pests. You can bring a wiggling stool sample to the M-Diety and he'll tell you there is nothing there. He'll REFUSE to put it under a glass in your presence. But you can beat it yourself: Megadose on silver colloid and deworm your self immediately after. Watch and see. Hey, hit me back after you are CURED. By the way, not that it matters what brand you use, but the quality/price product we used was Mesosilver. Again, any properly prepared Colloidal Silver will do, but if you want the identical product, it was Mesosilver. One more thing: The same illuminati that gifted you with nano-bugs will do 2 things to keep you sick: Lie to you about argyria, and dazzle you with an array of bogus products with "scienticious" crap-talk. Listen to experience and beat the damned disease.
