It appears that Clif High's (halfpasthuman.com) predictions (January 25, 2011 Webbot Report) of the collapse of the US Dollar in 2011 has taken one more step to potentially coming true:

"...
BRICS Make Move to Shove Dollar Aside
by David Marsh
Monday, April 18, 2011

China and four other leading high-growth economies have taken landmark steps toward lowering the importance of the dollar in international financial transactions — part of a seminal shift in the move towards a multicurrency reserve and trading system.

Mind you, you wouldn't get an idea of anything dramatic from reading the official Chinese press on the conclusion of a summit meeting of the so-called BRICS economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) in the southern resort twin of Sanya in southern China last week.

Leave aside the whimsical acronyms. Addition of South Africa to the former BRICS format seems to have galvanized the grouping. The five countries agreed to expand use of their own currencies in trade with each other — an important step toward putting the dollar into a new downsized place. One key influence is the annual expansion of China's trade volume with other core countries by 40% in 2010 — and the buoyancy looks set to continue. The BRICS' state development banks, including the China Development Bank, agreed to use their own currencies instead of the dollar in issuing credit or grants to each other — and they will also phase out the dollar in overall settlements and lending among each other.

I can't believe the goverments of the West did not see that coming, it doesn't take a philly lawyer to work that one out. Importing all the cheaper chinese stuff would obviously back fire on our manufacturing industries and therefore cause great unemployment. Its fine to talk about free trade agreements etc but when not everyone is on the same playing surface (i.e. extremely cheap labour in China, India etc) then the West economies were obviously going to suffer. DOH!!!!

and another thing the intense mining activities and consumption of minerals by chinese firms in various countries South Africa, Australia (on Aboriginal land, i might add) etc is quite frankly doing my head in. What are they doing with everybody else's minerals??? I saw a British TV documentary re this very thing in Africa, i can't remember what countries but the firms bring in there own workers from China and therefore not employing the local workforce who really need the work.  Plunderng other countries and only the govts of these countries benefit (short term), but for what? would really like to know what all the minerals are for??? >:(

Hello Inselemel I just want to say I agree with all you have said. Sometime in the early 1990s I signed a petition against GAFT and NAFTA.
I am so very much against the outsourcing of our jobs. I believe there may be some progress on that front - would have to do some digging to find out.
Although I tend to favor the underdog and want to be fair and help MX I want to seal the borders and protect our own workers. I believe in protecting borders and ports and not so wild about wars on foreign soil. I do currently support the UN effort to get rid of Qaddafi.
(It needs to end soon.)
I didn't know the aboriginal land could be plundered. Not protected? I thought they would have the mineral rights at this point. I am not so up on the happenings there.
How are things on the cottage industry front in Scotland? Do people still make a living out of the wool and the homemade goods from wool, and so on?
I have some family members in England - some distant ancestry from all those countries...
Not sure what the deal is with the minerals something about technology?

PS I did watch the conference with China and I do believe our President is really pushing for a better trade deal with China. He did make an agreement and they will be purchasing billions in our US goods. This link has a page different expert opinions on how successful this is likely to be. Opinions vary. I think it is moving in the right direction not a good enough deal yet.

I forgot here is one excerpt:
http://www.theatlanticwire.com/business/2011/01/is-the-u-s-china-trade-agreement-a-big-deal/21440/

Is the U.S.-China Trade Agreement a Big Deal?

By Uri FriedmanJan 20, 2011
In a press conference with Chinese President Hu Jintao on Wednesday, President Obama announced a slew of bilateral trade deals that will ramp up U.S. exports to China by over $45 billion. Obama said the 70 deals--which include a $19 billion contract for 200 Boeing airplanes and $2 billion worth of clean energy, aviation, and railway joint ventures between GE and its Chinese partners--will support 235,000 American jobs in 12 states.

Obama raised concerns about China's undervalued currency at the news conference as well, but Hu stayed silent on the topic. Earlier in the day, Obama and Hu met with American and Chinese business leaders to discuss Chinese trade barriers and intellectual property theft, among other issues.

Thanks Yowbarb, i do think that the USA and UK govts have seen the light, now and reealise what a disaster it's been to flood their respective countries with cheap imports but i think it's a little too late as i really think we are in the end game.

I believe that the Chinese firms have done mining already in Australia and they are at the very end stages of getting the go ahead to mine on Aboriginal land, as in Africa they seem to promise a lot infrastructure, jobs etc (mind you i don't think that would wash with the elders there) but usually leaves the local people a lot worse off, but i'm sure the govt will find a way to side step the rights of the Aboriginal people. The documentary showed what they were planning to do and if it happened as it did elsewhere it would be a disaster for the area  and these people like the Hopi and the Navajo know what they are talking about when it comes to Mother Earth, i think a geologist mentioned a total collapse of neighbouring areas, which is obviously not good.

As regards the crofting/wool industries i'm not sure of the over all picture but a lot of the textile industries in the Borders were either severely cutting back on staff or shutting down completely but the Tweed textile industry in Harris etc was supposed to be doing well and it is still croft based which i personally think is a good thing.

I personally think it a bit coincidental that Chinese firms are gobbling up as much of this planets mineral wealth as possible and that a lot of recent 'UFO' activity has been seen in China - maybe it's good aliens monitoring the further rape of the planet or i think more likely to be 'the Greys' which according to 'Beyond the Veil of Time book' channeled through the Mitchell-Hedges Skull are android/robotic type creatures who have been abducting humans for some time now and implanting them (as it were) as they have not reached our level of vibration and are doing this to earthlings in order to feel emotion. I think that would explain a lot.

Another conspiracy theory of mine is that ever since South Africa did trade deals with China there have been a hideous amount of Rhino's being killed, Vets, Game Rangers involved, as a nature/animal lover i think it is totally barbaric especially as these alleged cures involving Rhino Horn have been scientifically PROVEN NOT TO WORK. What happens when there are no rhino left in the world what animal's parts will they start on next. ooooh it makes my blood boil!!

I am so thankful for this website as my mothers reply to that would be "oh melanie you can't say stuff like that" but thats what those in charge want us to do - ie not question. Thanks again for the website

inselemel thanks for the post.... I read some of your other posts. (Are you French  and living in the UK area? ) I could relate to what you put about the Resistance. For me that is a very strong connection.

That's really a disgrace if true that the govt would do that to aboriginal lands. Is that w/out their Council's permission?
Just awful.
The rhino horn supposedly an aphrodisiac... may be sort of a Viagra thing. Not sure. It sells for a pretty penny. I also am appalled at needless slaughter of the creatures. The elephants and dolphins and whales especially. Of course if the PX scenario happens as many of us feel it will,  those animals will have a tough time surviving at all.

I can relate to a lot. Two of my kids and I have caught glimpses of the grays. One incident apiece and some unexplained phenomenon... feelings and experiences  lights etc. started with son when he was 4. Not sure the extent of our involvement but my mother and I and my son have the unexplained scar marks that pop up on the backs of hands etc. and son had a little object come out of his hand etc. and a lot of dreams etc. My Michael when he was alive  - he and I had an odd incident where we both passed out asleep for a long time. It seemed ET-ish.
They are mainly up to strengthening their genetic base, I feel.
I suppose it is possible they are getting minerals. If so, it would not be the first time.
Once I tried to let my mother know several ET and also, separately paranormal experiences  i had had and the kids too.  (Bless her) she became so angry with me and thought I was "trying to scare the kids." I was astounded she would say that.  They came to me with things - I didn't start bringing up all the stuff. It's just part of who we are... Sounds odd to a lot of people so I don't bring it up much. Not sure why I blab it on the forum when in daily life I only tell a certain circle of people...

Oh yes glad to read the cottage industries are still surviving... Let's hope that gets better for them, too.
Well, over and out for now,
Have a good day  8)and we are glad you are here,
Yowbarb

A recent video said that the Chinese are converting their US Treasury bonds to hard assets in preparation for the inevitable collapse of the US dollar.  http://www.surviveinplace.com/controversialvideo/

"New report out today"

Are you referring to Issue Ten, which costs $10?
If so, could you give us a summary or abstract?

Thanks

I downloaded a copy of Issue Ten (Published May 1, 2011) last night and only made it through half of the report. I'll provide a better abstract after finishing the report, but so far here are the highlights for the next few months:
1. US dollar collapse.
2. Global Stock Market collapse.
3. Solar cycles in August 2011 to burn ("to a crisp") many southern hemisphere land masses.
4. Major food shortages (obvious in US) by late summer 2011.
5. World population to stop eating meat due to "bad blood" reported by MSM.
6. Catholic church in turmoil after a certain head figure goes underground to save self.

I also need to reread a few pages regarding Europe & Asia.

Susan, since you've also downloaded the report please correct anything that I may have misstated. Thx!  ;D

Excellent.  Please continue.
7. Mass relocation of people in Australia and other south eastern areas during September / October as those areas become inhabitable due to extreme weather conditions.
8. Flooding, landslides and extreme cold winter in South during America late months of 2011.
9. Tornadoes AND hurricanes in eastern & mid North American (NA) areas that normally do not see hurricanes.
10. Extreme rain showers in NA that are so intense oxygen will (appear to) be removed within 3 meters (9') above ground. Many people will drown standing at ground level as a result.
11. A 'short' female 'figure' will become well-know in NA.
12. A national news reporter will be attacked by a very large, angry crowd in NA.

More to follow. Still reading...

"In my opinion, here is the short woman that the report refers to" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uHSv1asFvU

Ah yes, Ayn Rand, author of the enormously influential novel Atlas Shrugged.  See http://atlasshrugged.com/ .  Good guess, I reckon.  I was surprised to learn that she is still alive and active, since she was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, on February 2, 1905.

Just to clarify, "the shape reports" are those that Clif High of the Webot project writes.  I am amazed at the level of detail that that system produces.

One detail:  the DataAnalysis20 report ends with the following sentences:

" No, there will not be a crustal shift, nor a planet X induced 'roll around' of earth.  Yes, there will be huge levels of persistent changes as the planet grows. More winds, greater gravitational and magnetic effects among shaking ground, sloshing seas, and terrible weather. "
