The course did not delve into WHY some of the methylation and hydroxylation can occur.

Just eating sunflower seeds, egg yolks or supplementing with lecithin /choline (a B-vitamin and emulsifier capable of mixing healthy oils into the watery blood plasma) should supply the extra methyl groups to facilitate methylation.

Ilinda, your on-line course in epigenetics places you way ahead of most of us, credit or no credit!  Thanks for all the good info! :)

R.R. Thanks for this info! :)

Jericho was awesome, but unfortunately cut short when it came to civil war...
[Remember that episode of The Prisoner that was banned because it was about inciting a revolution?]
The Jericho TV series was continued in comic book form, if you would wish to see the end of that story line.

Another TEOTWAWKI classic, i believe [especially if you're counting on a limited cataclysm...].

The Mosquito Coast

In a real way Paul Theroux's classic The Mosquito Coast is also a post-apocalyptic tale of starting over again and running into human parasites [i.e. with guns] who are out to take advantage of what you've wrought with superior planning and knowledge.
Kinda depressing but educational, i think.

Here is another good one..

Eerily Prophetic 2006 Movie Warned: 'One Generation From Now, Our Civilization Is In Chaos Because Our World Is Dying'

- Are We Now Witnessing The Fulfillment Of The Globalists 'Master Plan' And 'Population Meltdown'?
http://allnewspipeline.com/Population_Meltdown_MT_Taylor.php

A disturbing study published by the NY Post and recently shared on the Steve Quayle website forecasts a “mass extinction” that wipes out humanity as early as the year 2100. A second study conducted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem reports a 50.3 per cent decline in human sperm production over the last few years.

“This trends toward a collapse of human population,” an article from Natural News reported.

Worldwide human extinction may not seem that threatening right now, but even in our present generation we are seeing smaller families and the birth of fewer babies. As the problem intensifies, population forecasters fear that children may one day become a celebrated rarity, neither seen nor heard.

Why has infertility become a global public health issue? Scientists and researchers attribute it to many and varied causes, from stress to environmental breakdown to food packaging chemicals. Even obesity has been named as a factor.

An eerily prophetic science fiction film set in London in 2006 called Children of Men depicts a future where the world is stricken with mass human infertility, and a science team works feverishly to save mankind from extinction. Over a period of 20 years, women have become infertile, and there are no children.

"GEOSTORM" so far, not getting good reviews. Trailer looks OK.
It is an example of apocalypse movies although may be man made apocalypse...

This chick will have to pass on watching it, as the trailer shows it to be one catastrophe-for-the-moment after another.  I'd give it a 1 or 2 out of 10.

There are simply too many 'apocalypse movies' being made to mention them all. However, some impress and even stand the test of time. These are worth sharing; the rest are best forgotten...
Case in point: 2012; people surviving by pure luck / chance to be 'saved' by governmental initiatives.
Give me a break...

We're then talking The Handmaid's Tale.
There's a 1990 movie and a recent serial.
Then there's Children of Men
[Not to mention Frank Herbert's The White Plague]
