:) It's quite a luxury having the ability to record shows and also having Netflix, Vudu and videos for rent too.
For all of my life up to a few years ago, just had a few local channels.
As long as I had the PBS station along with that I did OK. So many impressive shows now sci fi and fantasy. It's not that I need so much entertainment (I watch during meal breaks and whem I am too tired to get anything done.)  I have some background in theater arts and I like film, so I appreciate talented actors, directors, writer, filmmakers visual artists, etc. I appreciate creative people such as the visual editor- producer in Avatar, Lord Of The Rings, etc. What a wonderful creativity she brought to films...

I watched "Take Shelter" the other day for the third time. It is quite a movie. I got somethings out of it...things I hadn't noticed the first time.

Movie Trailer is below:

Yowbarb Note:  I viewed "Into The Storm" last night with family. My son rented it. I recommend people watch it and take note of all that happens, including the survival features of "The Titan" storm-chasing vehicle. Although "Into The Storm" does not score high in the "Tomatometer" it catches ones interest; the acting fairly good; great special effects.   :o Most importantly - this film does show the many hazards we humans will face in the major high wind events which, IMHO are surely going to happen. This trailer starts with a few ads but it's worth seeing:

I concur that we will be dealing with very high winds, specially if there is a total Pole Shift.
