Ok maybe this is nothing, but over the past few weeks I've noticed more sloshing when my toilet flushes. Usually it is a straight even/flat swirl until the water exits. Over the past few weeks the water sloshes around so much it doesn't flush correctly all the time. Very odd to say the least. I'm not sure if it is just my toilet acting weird or something bigger. Just though I toss it out to the board.

I think this article is very interesting based on the impending "globalization" of earth. How convenient will it be when the One World Government, and One World currency is rolled out to that masses, that there will be a global time standard as well. Very easy to enforce curfews worldwide as well as limit other social activity. Here is a link to the story: http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/a-calendar-that-stays-the-same-1/59692

Looking for confirmation of this heavenly body...is this the moon rising? I think so, but thought I'd post in case it is something else.

A friend of mine at work lost her stepfather over the weekend to a rogue wave. What I found VERY odd is that he was not swimming, but walking the beach!
From what I've been told, the wave picked him up then slammed him to the beach causing severe head trauma. He was dragged back out to sea with the wave and hauled back to shore, unconscious and not breathing. He was flown to Shock Trauma where is lived for a while, but all brain activity was gone.
The day before his wife was struck and almost dragged into the ocean. And there was also a report of another person getting a broken leg from one of these nasty waves.
Needless to say this is the 1st time I have ever heard of this kind of thing. It's one thing to get hurt in the surf, but completely another to get crushed walking the shoreline!

I've convinced my spouse that we need some emergency supplies. I have a local surplus grocery close by - can the board suggest what canned goods would be good to have in an emergency? Thanks everyone!

Station Location: The New Center of German Research in Antarctica - Neumayer Station III Ekström Shelf Ice, Atka Bay, north-eastern Weddell Sea Position: 70°40'S, 008°16' Webcam site: http://www.awi.de/NM_WebCam/livemovieT.htmlSome interesting photos from 4-26-2011 I'm really not exactly sure what we a looking at here, but it is BIG! after referring to Stellarium, I believe photos 2+3 show the moon rising around 23-0:00 GMT. The moon should be 51% visible and based on the sensitivity of the camera, I believe this is true. Now the $24,000 question...photo 1. If that is not the moon which it cannot be since the moon is @ 51% visibility, what is it? Wish I could see it again, but the latest cam sequence is fuzzy during these times. I will keep checking the site for a confirmation of both these objects if they ever let that time be shown again. Hmmmm...

http://www.melancholiathemovie.com/ (brief nudity...foreign film) Watch this movie trailer then post your thoughts. I'll start.... Um...wow. Planet X on the big screen. Never saw that coming! I guess TPTB want to marginalize the topic by making a movie about it in hopes the sheeple say..."that's Hollywood for you".

Obviously a cave would be my initial answer, but also the same answer ALOT of other people will consider.
What are some other objects/areas where protection can be had from all the rubble that will rain down on this planet when we pass through elenin's tail. You have to expect that much of this material can make it to the surface and wreak havoc.
Would you consider a storm drain system or deep culverts under major highways a safe location from the rain of rocks? How thick would protection need to be from space rocks? I've been thinking about this more and more as what seems to the the inevitable stalks us like a vulture waiting for lunch. Just looking for a few ideas from the membership.

I stumbled across this link on the Coast2Coast website: http://www.familyradio.com/index2.htmlNot sure what to think, but I wouldn't be suprised to see these kind of sites popping up as we get closer to the "end of the age" as the Mayans put it.

Utah Considers Return to Gold, Silver CoinsBy Stephen Clark Published March 03, 2011 The Utah House was to vote as early as Thursday on legislation that would recognize gold and silver coins issued by the federal government as legal currency in the state. (AP) It's been nearly 80 years since the U.S. stopped using gold coins as legal currency, and nearly 40 since the world abandoned the gold standard, but the precious metal could be making a comeback in the United States -- beginning in Utah. The Utah House was to vote as early as Thursday on legislation that would recognize gold and silver coins issued by the federal government as legal currency in the state. The coins would not replace the current paper currency but would be used and accepted voluntarily as an alternative. The legislation, which has 12 co-sponsors, would let Utahans pay their taxes with gold and also calls for a committee to study alternative currencies for the state. It would also exempt the sale of gold from the state capital gains tax. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/03/03/utah-considers-return-gold-silver-coins/Very interesting move from the Mormons...looks like they are getting ready for the aftertimes --> ahead of time

If anyone has photos or movies clips to share or link to I though this would be a good spot. I have posted this composition elsewhere on this forum, but one good shot deserves another.

Even weather-savvy New Englanders may not be aware of the unprecedented weather going on to start the week. No doubt, a potent storm has delivered gusty winds and even the first snow of the season for southern New England and Long Island. However, from a meteorological standpoint, this one is unique. AccuWeather.com Expert Senior Meteorologist Joe Bastardi has never seen a storm of this magnitude strike New England from the northeast in all his years of studying the weather. Bastardi is calling this system a "rogue storm." http://www.accuweather.com/blogs/news/story/41312/rogue-storm-slams-new-england-1.aspThis is amazing....even the mets are stumped! I think the roller coaster ride is about to begin! Interesting video here: http://www.accuweather.com/video/90462062001/storm-strikes-new-england-f.asp
