After reading several articles on MSM and conspiracy sites regarding the latest large flare/CME that was ejected from the sun on 7th June and the possible relation between planetary alignments I thought I would use JPLs database to see if their was a planetary alignment during the Carrington Event of 1st September 1859.
This is what I discovered. Also notice Elenins position, however I highly doubt that this would have contributed as I believe it is just a comet.

From what I have read on a similar discussion thread on GLP, the centre radii is a reference to the earth and not Elenin.

Couldn't agree more barb, just seems that they're finding all the bad guys now to keep our attention from something else, elenin in my opinion. Even my wife commented on the timing including bin laden

Just a thought but should we try sounding out MSM science editors and alike. I know there is probably a blackout on the subject but its not as though its a make believe topic, Elenin is real whether its a comet or a dwarf star. The silence from MSM is deafening. The public deserve to know. If enough people begin digging then TPTB will have to admit eventually what is happening even if it means they just bring the subject of Elenin out into the public domain.
It reminds me of the opening scenes in 'Deep Impact' when the reporter stumbles upon ELE a couple of weeks before the government were to release their info and ends up forcing their hand.
Maybe we here on the townhall should make some sort of document containing irrefutable evidence of Elenin anomalies and then email/post it to MSM science editors/ investigative journalists of national news agencies/newspapers/websites of all our respective nations. Out of 1000+ members we should be able to get someone to put pressure on a whistleblower to spill the beans.

Could Elenin be a cover for a UFO recon mission from the following dwarf star PX system??? Leigh

If Elenin is a dwarf star of considerable size then on this date wouldnt we see a prolonged solar eclipse maybe lasting 1 to 2 days???
Are there any references from the ancients of such an eclipse prior to earth changes?
I posted this comment under the old comet elenin thread but it seems as though the entire thread has been lost whilst trying to move it

Haha it seems that I ought to read up a bit more and brush up on my knowledge. Most of my knowledge is gained from programmes on Nat geo and discovery channels. Maybe I'm interpreting some of the information they give incorrectly.
Oh well it all sounded good in my head, anyway thanks Jim for answering.
