I personally don't think you can have too many hand-tools. In fact I'm pretty sure I have AT LEAST 2 of everything, 3 of most. I'm taking my extras to the farm we're gonna end up in.

Alot of this is stuff I want at my final destination;

PLENTY of rope in all different diameters
Block-and-tackle (lifting heavier stuff safely. No need to injure yourself)
A full file-set (I have 2 complete sets with 8 files each, for wood and metals including flat, round, and triangular)
Hacksaws and plenty of blades
Wrenches
Adjustable (cresent) wrenches
pipe wrenches
pliers
channel-lock pliers
All shovels, hoes, post hole diggers and anything else for moving earth/gravel/sand
At least one wheelbarrow/dolly/handcart for moving things around

"I personally don't think you can have too many hand-tools."
Agreed.  Add three or more vises also, of different sizes and styles.

Yowbarb:
Wire cutters, heavy duty

I read good review on this type:

Felco CDO Commando Barbed Wire & Fence Cutter

Jimfarmer:
"Wire cutters, heavy duty"
Ah yes.  And maybe a bolt cutter?
Or would a hacksaw suffice?
