2017 – Catastrophic Solar Events
« on: March 31, 2017, 01:52:42 PM »
Since we can expect many “dangerous effects” to Planet Earth from the Sun as the Planet-X system continues to draw closer I thought that a new thread about its effects for 2017 would be in order to keep track of them ..

Solar explosion that missed Earth is captured in stunning new footage as NASA prepares a probe destined for the sun to study 'dangerous activity'!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4286010/Solar-explosion-captured-stunning-new-footage.html

A dangerous flare erupted in the early hours of Monday morning Solar flares can knock out power grids and take down communication lines 'Solar Probe Plus' was announced by Nasa last month and will study solar flares Scientists are hoping to unlock the secrets of solar winds and flares from the sun

A solar flare that erupted from the sun in the early hours of Monday morning has been captured in a stunning new video.

The flare missed Earth on its flight path but could have knocked out communications and navigation systems had it reached the planet's magnetic field.

Large solar flares can knock out electrons from Earth's atmosphere and cause electromagnetic storms.

Larger flares can knock out electrical grids and change Earth's magnetic field, confusing navigational and communications equipment. (Oh ya that a much more..)

“Space weather” can cause cascading collapse across critical human civilization infrastructure, blocking rail transport, aviation, and food delivery

http://www.naturalnews.com/2017-04-06-space-weather-can-cause-cascading-collapse-across-critical-human-civilization-infrastructure-blocking-rail-transport-aviation-and-food-delivery.html

Joint Research Center (JRC) warns that extreme space weather can damage critical infrastructure in the European Union (EU). In their new report, researchers at the JRC identified gaps found in current industry and science policies regarding the reduction of risks related to space weather and provided recommendations that would close these gaps. The report is a summary of a summit organized in partnership with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency and the U.K. Met office, with the support of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) held late last year.

Space weather is defined by researchers as a collection of physical processes emitted by the Sun that affect the Earth and surrounding space. The Sun is constantly ejecting energy as flares of electromagnetic radiation. Most of these are in the form of radio waves, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, infrared radiation, and light. The electrically-charged particles travel outward as solar wind, carrying projections of the Sun’s magnetic field with them. Eventually, these particles reach the Earth.

This, scientists say, is where the fun begins. A unique interaction between our planet’s magnetic field and the outer atmosphere take place. Sometimes, extreme space weather can cause large concentrations of energetic particles to collect around the magnetosphere and ionosphere, leading to magnetic variations. These variations can cause beautiful striations in the sky, which we know as auroras. However, beyond the beauty lies a potentially dangerous technological and societal problem.
Cascading effects

A main concern is that communication technology is highly sensitive to space weather. It is recognized that extreme solar flares can disrupt communication infrastructure — even those made from the latest materials. Given how heavily we rely on these channels, there could be havoc or even societal collapse should one of these fail. Critical infrastructure, especially those associated with the receipt and delivery of sensitive global data, should be assessed for sturdiness and viability. Beyond that, new methodologies and tools are needed to determine interdependencies between and among countries. Put simply: a multi-risk governance approach needs to be designed. This would enable coordination between sectors to mitigate the risk of isolation.

For example, a pan-European vulnerability assessment of a specific power grid would identify critical issues in a case of extreme space weather. Operators at the structure can determine whether a specific system would directly (or even indirectly) be vulnerable to space weather. If a potential hazard is found (e.g. dependencies on GPS), then contingencies should be made to build better communication between science and industry to ensure that relevant and reliable information will still be available.

Current technologies are still unable to accurately predict space weather due to a limited understanding of the magnetic field orientation of certain electrons as they hit the Earth. As such, there are knowledge gaps within our system that need to be addressed. (Finally they are starting to think about this??)

BRACE YOURSELVES Solar flare spewing from mega hole in the Sun could cause blackout mayhem

A gaping hole in the sun's atmosphere has turned toward Earth and is belching 'fast-moving' radioactive particles

https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/3379806/solar-flare-spewing-from-mega-hole-in-the-sun-could-cause-blackout-mayhem-next-week/

This coronal hole is a vast region where the Sun’s magnetic field tears apart, allowing solar wind to escape.

Super-charged solar winds flowing from the Sun’s atmosphere are expected to reach Earth on April 23 or 24.

It looks like even “Dr. Doom” is getting nervous ..

MAJOR DAMES FRANTICALLY CALLED THE RV STAFF THIS MORNING ABOUT THIS BREAKING SOLAR FLARE NEWS!

Our main office received a call from Major Ed Dames who was terrified about the frightening news that almost just changed life as you know it on Earth, and was a precursor to the Killshot!  :o

Ed informed us that if these recent massive flares would have occurred just a few days earlier, it would have hit earth head on. The dangers from this breaking news is being watered down for the public, and the global population remains in the dark. Ed and his team will be keeping a close eye on these current sun spots and will provide updates accordingly.

Remote Viewers urge you to discover your sanctuary locations if you haven't done so already. Time is short.

They know what is about to take place… everyone should take heed ..

Black Sky Event”: Feds Preparing For Widespread Power Outages Across U.S.
Experts gear up for catastrophe that would “bring society to its knees”

https://www.infowars.com/black-sky-event-feds-preparing-for-widespread-power-outages-across-u-s/

Federal government agencies are preparing for the possibility of “widespread power outages” across the U.S. as a result of a “black sky” event that could “bring society to its knees”.

An exercise sponsored by FEMA and the U.S. Department of Energy set to take place on August 23 called EarthEX2017 will wargame responses to catastrophes such as mega earthquakes, cyber terrorism or high altitude electromagnetic pulse attacks.

The exercise will simulate a “subcontinent-scale, long duration power outage, with cascading failures of all other infrastructures,” according to the official Earth Ex website.

“Black sky events” are defined as, “Catastrophic occurrences caused by man or nature that bring society to its knees.”

“Cars would have no fuel. Restaurants and grocery stores would be bare. Electricity could be out for months in such an event,” writes Mike Vasilinda.

Given the soaring tensions between the United States and North Korea, which has threatened to attack the U.S. territory of Guam, the timing of the EarthEX2017 exercise couldn’t be more appropriate.

According to former Florida Congresswoman Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda, North Korea’s saber rattling is making top brass “anxious” about potential society-changing disasters.

“It’s not “if” but “when” a Black Sky event will occur,” writes Vasilinda, an alarming statement given that she discusses meeting with “members of the U.S. military, National Guard Adjutant Generals, officials from Homeland Security, Department of Energy, FEMA, NOAA, and experts from the utility, distribution and supply sectors,” at a private summit held in Washington DC.

The summit was attended by 200 experts from 24 countries and was hosted by Congresswoman Yvette Clark, D-NY, Congressman Trent Franks, R-Arizona, the Rt, Honorable Lord James Arbuthnot, Conservative and the Rt. Honorable Lord Toby Harris, Labour Party of the UK Parliament.

The summit convened to study the impact of a massive cataclysm that “severely disrupts the normal functioning of our critical infrastructures in multiple regions for long periods of time.”

Given that FEMA has been stockpiling ready-to-eat meals, blankets and body bags for years, perhaps it’s time to dust off those old generators and stock up on that storable food.

Today a film was posted in which Paul Begley says Taiwan is experiencing a massive power blackout affecting 6.8 million people in the summer heat, meaning no air conditioning with high humidity and temperatures reaching a few degrees shy of 100 degrees F.  He mentions the water supply and hospital services being affected, but maybe there are back-up systems in place for those critical services?

In the film Pastor Begley also worries aloud that the outage might have been deliberately caused, and that a similar scenario may be planned by PTB here in the States in the near future.

Solar Flares Interfered With Radio Network’s Ability to Warn People About Hurricane Irma

https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/5997ea/solar-flares-interfered-with-radio-networks-ability-to-warn-people-about-hurricane-irma

“It’s sad, knowing you’re trying to get the information out, or maybe someone out there is trying to talk back to you.”

A series of massive explosions on the Sun caused a radio network designed to warn people of hurricanes in remote regions, including the Caribbean, to go on the fritz during the time period when it would have been issuing information about Hurricane Irma, both the manager of the network and a NOAA representative confirmed to Motherboard.

Solar flares like the ones reported this week are known to interfere with high frequency radio signals. "When that solar flare happens, it's like static frying," Bobby Graves, Net Manager for Hurricane Watch Net (HWN), told me over the phone. This group of licensed amateur radio operators, based across North and central America and the Caribbean, works with the National Hurricane Center to disseminate information about storms. When a solar flare happens, "it's like they just turned the radio off," Graves, who lives in Brandon, Mississippi, told me.

Geomagnetic storms make everything sound "gurgly," like you're talking "underwater"

"It's sad, knowing you're trying to get the information out, or maybe someone out there is trying to talk back to you," Graves told me. Radio operators have to wait out the solar storm, and "hopefully [the people] still there when the frequency is recovered.”

One was an X9.3 flare, the largest recorded in about a decade, according to NASA. NOAA's space weather agency issued warnings for geomagnetic storms, which are major disturbances in our planet's magnetosphere that can meddle with all kinds of technologies we rely on, including satellites, radio communications, and GPS signals. According to Graves, these storms make everything sound "gurgly," like you're talking "underwater.”

Bob Rutledge, lead forecaster at NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center, confirmed receiving "isolated" reports from the Caribbean about radio blackouts related to the series of solar flares observed on the Sun this week, including from HWN. "It's truly a complete [radio] blackout," Rutledge said. "That signal can't get through."

HWN also gathers data from people on-the-ground and sends the information back to the NHC in Miami, according to Graves. He said that blackouts this week lasted from 20 minutes to up to four hours.
