For some non-electronic fun, here's a neat park in Canada where - instead of walking the trails - people skate through the entire length of the park, which is 1.3 km.

Around 37 minutes into this video, Dave Dobbs discusses the potentially destructive effect of near Px bodies on the human psyche.  He says that we need to be very grounded at this time.  One of the best signs that we are well-centered and grounded in our being, according to Dobbs, is the experience of sadness.  He advises to be fully present for that emotion, rather than attempting to medicate it away, as the ability to feel sad means that we are a complete human.

Rather than assuming that sadness means we are on the brink of an intractable abyss, we can know that it is a necessary phase in the cycle of healing and rebirth.  Instead of avoiding the experience, we need to proceed through it as if it were a door.  Medicating it means sitting forever at the door of that experience and never traversing it to the other side.  The same goes for anger, loneliness, and all seemingly negative emotions.

We need not be afraid of these strong negative feelings.  We can draw ourselves back into the present moment by asking, "What am I doing right now?" to redirect our energy in a positive way, without attempting to erase the negative emotions from our experience.

We can also be aware of harmful entities that may be feeding upon us at such times (Reptilians, etc.), and focus our attention back upon them, which Dobbs says they hate because it forces them to examine themselves in the mirror which we have turned back at them.  They will depart from us as a result.

Clean freak gorilla walks on two legs; Can't stand dirty hands…  ;D

Michael Stern, curator of primates and small mammals, says workers had to install a fire hose over a mud puddle in the yard. The nearly 500-pound, 6-foot-tall primate crosses it like a tight rope to avoid getting dirty. He says it's "pretty unusual" for gorillas to walk around upright. In the wild, Western lowland gorillas like Louis might do it for a few seconds to reach food or wade into swamps.

Re: Positive News : Healing from attacks by troubled individuals and groups
« Reply #698 on: March 17, 2018, 10:59:26 AM »
Given the numerous both open and anonymous attacks on members of the Px research community, it seems timely to broach a discussion on how to protect ourselves from personality disordered individuals and institutions, as well as on how we can find healing in the wake of harm done by them.

With the Internet having been up and running more than a couple of decades now, most of us probably understand that we are likely to encounter a sampling of all types of human behavior in making any kind of social or public use of our computers.  Many of us are careful to use an alias, though as we've gotten to know one another better in Town Hall for example, some of us have let our guard down and become "real" with each other, with little personal risk involved.

Some of our leaders, however, have put their own names and reputations on the line, and paid a price in the process, surely earning a reward down the road for the many of us whom they've helped to awaken with their freely shared knowledge.  Many of us, ourselves, are leaders in our own communities even when not online, and may personally know the stresses of interfacing with personality disordered individuals.  Here is a table estimating the statistical prevalence in society, and the numbers may be lower than actually exist, as some of these personality types can remain hidden.

In all humility, I acknowledge that we may all possess to a lesser extent a degree of narcissism for example, which may or may not be healthy for us and for those around us.  Am guessing that those of us in Awareness may lean toward the healthy end of the spectrum, simply because we are very tuned-in to something larger than ourselves.  Also as Marshall has explained, some of the Aware may have been bullied or neglected in the past, and may be experiencing more of the same in the present.

A member of the Px awareness community who may be less well-known is a woman who is a powerful teacher about how to handle narcissistic attacks, and how to be healed from one afterward, as they can be debilitating in many ways.  She comes from a deeply religious background, but her teachings transcend sectarianism and can be put into practice by anyone.  Most importantly, she herself has personally experienced the many faces of narcissistic abuse, and can speak about it on a personal, rather than strictly clinical, level.  The fact that she is able to laugh about much of it, in retrospect, is testament to her level of healing in the present time.

Her Youtube channel is Niches of Narcissismhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbnkubKpYoqCMi7wtfEuZFg

As mentioned before, she is also aware of Px and does also post Px informational videos.  I will state up-front that though I do not agree with all of her opinions on that subject, I consider her a valuable teacher otherwise, having learned much from her myself.

More soon.

Quote
...The narcissistic attack will be your greatest triumph for your greatest good.

Quote
...Sometimes you may be in a literal battle for your life

Factors contributing to a narcissism epidemic:

*upbringing
*personal choices
*natural proclivities (I'm assuming that she is including genetics here)
*influence of dark entities in some, but not all, cases
*conditions on earth in the End Times

"7 Red Flags That You've Never Heard About"
Note: Some of her comments are her own personal theological opinions.

First, three stages of development in which Narcissism becomes the established pattern of habit:

Childhood fraught with violent abuse or its opposite: excessive undeserved praise; limited parenting, and lack of spiritual teaching especially including empathy.

Emancipated adolescence guided by peer pressure to fit into an unrealistic image for popularity and self-worth; early drug or alcohol experimentation or other addictive behavior; lack of positive parenting to guide the teen into adult responsibility, which should be achieved by the time the young person is 16; consistent disrespect for parents and authority; entertainment choices that consistently reinforce these character flaws; expectation of instant gratification and lack of age-appropriate self-control..

Young adulthood marked by signs of entrenched narcissism, such as either coolness or raging, selfishness, manipulation, and addictions possibly leading to jail, rehab or death.  The cooler end of the spectrum may instead function by stealth and be more difficult to detect.

The Seven Red Flags of a Hardened Adult Narcissist:

1. Drug or alcohol abuse

2. Promiscuity

3. "Adult" entertainment

4. Fantasies, delusions

5. Need for instant gratification

6. Rebelliousness toward appropriate authority

7. Emotional extremes

Notes on "Why the Narcissist Explodes at Nothing"

Narcissists have learned to live in a fantasy world from an early age
*Overt Fantasizing: Obsession with a figure in the media
*Covert Fantasizing: Unrealistic expectations of others and the world
                                   Idealized image of self
     *Exacerbated by absorption with media
*Reinforced by addictions to drugs, alcohol, sex
*Since "self" controls the fantasy, others are merely objects in the narrative
     *Reality interrupts their inner world
*The needs of others intrude upon the fantasy
*Possible co-morbidity with other mental illness classifications, autism, ADHD
*Possible involvement with dark entities, knowingly or unknowingly

The Fantasy World Revolves Around:
     *Power
     *Lust
     *Greed
     *Attention
     *Romance
     *Pride

Narcissistic Responses to Interruption of the Fantasy
     *Explosion / raging
     *Silent treatment / withdrawl
*Verbal denial of the truth even if cognizant of it
     *Word salad / random speech
     *Leaving
     *Devaluation of others
     *Inflexibility

Other Areas of Low Functioning for the Narcissist
     *Keeping promises
     *Holding down a steady job
     *Staying on a budget
     *Being organized
     *Managing a schedule

The "rude" intrusion of others who are in reality into the fantasy world of the Narcissist is actually very good for him or her, even if the reaction is unpleasant.

Everyone in the fantasy drama is eventually doomed to fail.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiDriC1gUa4 (a very glitchy video)

The covert narcissist

Regardless of whether a person has been diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder, presenting evidence of more than half of the diagnostic criteria, the person still could be a covert narcissist if you are being abused.

Outsiders may only be aware of the good in that person, but those closer to him or her may be seeing another side of the personality that goes unseen in public.

Deborah turns to religion for how to discern a covert narcissist before the overt abuse begins.  I agree with several of her points, but disagree on a few (I don't believe that Wiccans can be construed to be narcissists, for example, merely due to their religious beliefs).  Most of the list that she derives can be summarized as
types of spiritual selfishness:

*Dishonesty, even about small matters
*Promiscuity under the radar
*Idolatry
*Status-consciousness
*Profaning sacred things
*Power-hungry
*Moodiness
*Lack of humility
*Political correctness expected over speaking truth to power

Reasons why the traditional red flags might not match up:
*You haven't seen the person in a variety of different situations yet
(could be a good, bad, or different situation that brings out the narcissist)

*Parts of his/her personality may be carefully segregated from other parts
(not multiple personality disorder, but having personas for various situations)

*You have not seen him/her fully triggered yet by his/her own unique triggers

*The narcissist may have convinced you and others that you're the problem

Seeing the covert narcissist for what he/she is:
*Trust your first instincts
*Recall scriptural wisdom
*Envision the person in different situations
*Pray and then look for tips of the iceberg
*Don't make excuses for him/her

Empaths project their own goodness onto the abuser.

Alexa Device Gives Definition Of Chemtrails And It’s Freaking Some People Out

http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/alexa-device-gives-definition-of-chemtrails-and-its-freaking-some-people-out_04122018

Amazon’s Alexa device is back in the spotlight after people began taking notice of the response they got when asking about chemtrails.  The actual response, however, is freaking out the “we buy the official narrative about everything and believe everything the government says” crowd.

Alexa stirred some controversy in the past for her “response” when asked if she worked for the CIA. The device didn’t actually give a response, rather, it just shut down.

What’s even more fascinating, is that the propagandists upset about Alexa giving a correct definition actually made such a big deal about it, that the product will now no longer give you the definition of a “chemtrail.” It’ll instead, tell you what a “contrail” is.

Absolutely hilarious.  Also, it was interesting that the sentence Alexa uttered, supposedly answering the question about lying, seemed to be cut off.  When asked "Alexa, do you lie?", Alexa"  I always try to tell the truth....I would never let you or anyone else..."  Did I misinterpret "let" and it is actually "lie to"?

At anyrate, we now know Alexa will continue to evolve in response to the questions, always trying to stay one step ahead of any "trick questions".

Notice how Alexa never said "I always tell the truth", but said, "I always TRY to tell the truth".  LOL  The only reason Alexa "tries" is because it will tell the truth if the question isn't a loaded one, or if it doesn't touch on certain subjects that TPTW want to remain taboo.
