Ancient city found on Caribbean sea floor
« on: December 17, 2009, 10:56:34 AM »
From a Thread:

WASHINGTON, DC (Herald de Paris) - EXCLUSIVE - The explorers who yesterday announced the discovery of a previously unknown submerged city in the Caribbean have today released the first detailed images of some of the structural evidence they have uncovered.  These images are very grainy, but considering they were shot from an orbiting satellite, are pretty amazing.

The first image shows a rounded structure with spider-like buttressing

The second image shows structural foundation/wall ruins, a clear room layout, and right angles

The third image reveals the tall temple-like structure, the adjacent structures above an engineered platform, and what appears as statuary, below

The fourth image - look carefully at the center - reveals a ruined structure, but what remains standing are two parallel post-and-beam elements.  Architectural historians insist that post-and-beam construction if proof of human hand

The fifth image shows what appears to be a temple-like structure facing another engineered platform, which also has structure above

Linda and Lori -I'd like to think it is Atlantis down under the Caribbean. Not thinking it is...
Somewhere along the line I read one theory Atlantis is sunken down under the sands in Antarctica.
The idea is the pole shift took a temperate almost tropical climate and stuck it in the south pole.
I think it was the Atlantis Rising Monthly mag.
Not totally sure if this is the mag I saw years ago online:
http://www.atlantisrising.com/index.shtml
We should probably have a whole Atlantis Topic in Joe's area, eh?

Atlantis is something of interest regarding the pole shift, as it is theorized that Atlantis will rise again if and when we have another one (pole shift).

Yowbarb Note: In this article the claim is that the underwater city is composed of natural geologic formations not human-made.

There is one lost city, Port Royal submerged by a devastating quake and then a tsunami the island sunk...  1692. Over 3,000 people perished really quickly... Saw a documentary about that recently.  Not the ancient city people are talking about, though...
