Don't know how many people are aware of this;

Remote viewing Tibetan monks see Extra Terrestrial powers saving the World from destroying itself in 2012
N.K. Subramanium, Special Correspondent
December 26, 2004

Remote viewing is nothing new in Tibetan monasteries. For thousands of years remote viewing in the middle of other spiritual activities have dominated Tibetan culture. What some Indian tourists came to learn from a few Tibetan monasteries under the current Chinese rule is extremely alarming and fascinating.

According to these tourists remote viewers are seeing world powers in the course of self-destruction. They also see that the world will not be destroyed. Between now and 2012 the world super powers will continue to engage in regional wars. Terrorism and covert war will be the main problem. In world politics something will happen in and around 2010. At that time the world powers will threaten to destroy each other.

Between 2010 and 2012, the whole world will get polarized and prepare for the ultimate dooms day. Heavy political maneuvers and negotiations will take place with little progress.

In 2012, the world will start plunging into a total destructive nuclear war.

And at that time something remarkable will happen, says, Buddhist monk of Tibet. Supernatural divine powers will intervene. The destiny of the world is not to self-destruct at this time.

Scientific interpretation of the monks

Ed this is interesting - the prediction about 2012 from Tibetan Monk's remote viewing.
It doesn't surprise me all that much that the Tibetans can remote view -but I didn't actually hear
about them doing this.
Thanks for posting...

Interesting Ed, I was unaware also that the Tibetan Monks practiced remote viewing.

Thanks,
Linda

A gentleman I like to call "my friend", was very involved with the CIA program many years ago, and wrote "Psychic Warrior". Viewing is more common than we think. In Zen, I believe it would be entering the "aether".

From another angle;  (BTW, ( 2.0.1.3.) is no longer there.

36. Remote Viewing. On the Internet, there is a website called "2.0.1.3.", and in the FAQ section, we find the following:

"Why do you assert that time is ending?"

Actually what is ending is the perception that time is "linear and absolute". In fact time exists many forms,        none of them real except in the subjective sense.

At the end of the present cycle, humanity will learn to keep cosmic time, galactic time, and quantum time, as well as to gain a more sophisticated understanding of solar time

So, if a remote viewer in 1997 cannot see beyond 2012 it is to a large degree because the world(s) beyond 2012 have not been conceived of yet, or we are just perceiving/creating them now

That is exactly the point, Linda! It isn't supposed to make sense. Truthfully, I haven't tried to "view" past 2012. I haven't viewed in the temporal area as far as I intended. I have viewed places and things. Let's just say that there are places that sometimes, you don't want to return to. I never intentionally tried to view the future, myself. For one thing, I don't think I am very good at viewing, yet.

Thanks Ed,
How long have you been remote viewing, and have you been formally trained, or self taught? I have seen training video's on the web, but they are generally expensive and I just don't know enough about the subject to determine if it's a rip off or not. But it does interest me.

I guess the best way to put it is; I am self trained, but with guidance and help. Without going into an alpha-wave state, I sometimes meditate, and see "pictures". I think that everyone sees these pictures, but for some reason, my mind notices certain pics and pulls them to my attention.  In that state, if you "try" to see, you can't, but if you just let it happen, it works. "If you seek it, it is not there."

Ed this is what happens to me.  I'm not even trying, but images have popped in my head out of nowhere.  I'm not even asking for it.  It just happens.

This has been happening since I was little.

I've always had a vivid imagination.  I can almost see the people and images right in the room with me.

Not too many in my family know this happens to me.  Only my kids.  Everyone here.  My husband knows but not to the extent that they appear.  I have talked to our Pastor but even he doesn't just know just how clear the pictures are.

I'm not so alone.  Theres a guy in our church who sees angels, I do too sometimes.

I'm afraid to talk too much about it with any other family member.

They would think probably think I'm Schizophrenic.   ;D

Lori, Bless you you are certainly not schizo and I really appreciate your sharing your dreams and perceptions here...
I know there are a fair amount of very spiritual and perceptive people who go to church and who
knows maybe the NA heritage has something to do with it, just sayin. I feel this is a gift.
Just a side note my dad was a pretty conservative church goer but he thought nothing of talking about ghosts in this house or that and he could look at a pile of laundry and see my lost key. Haha I needed his help sometimes when I had two toddlers running around and loved stuff like keys! I feel if I ever do prove Native American roots it is on my Dad's side for sure.
My Mom conservative but took me out side pointed to the stars and said we are not alone... words to that effect. etc. !
Back in the 1940s no less! Hope you don't mind my blabbing on.

Ed, I have always seen pictures in my head (it does sound funny when you put it that way) ;D
A few years ago I attended a 3 day conference put on by hayhouse radio (Louise Hay). In one seminar Denise Linn a medium and psychic was teaching us about past lives and how to read each other in a group, I would get pictures of each person that we were told to read, and most of the time I was right on. I thought that was pretty cool, but never associated it with remote viewing. Also when I do what's called a journey (a form of meditation to get answers that is taught by shamans) I always get answers in the form of pictures. So maybe remote viewing is not that far of a stretch for me.
Did you get a book on the subject or just research it on the web?

So hey Lori, were just Schizo's together 8) 8) 8)

Barb, my dad, a very ultra conservative guy, would also talk of ghosts. He took me to a house when I was little to hear the sound of the ghost footsteps on the stairs.
