Essential Oils Cured My Pulmonary Edema

All last spring and summer I endured the choking and coughing
effects of mowing the lawn without a pollen mask. I learned my
lesson. Consequently, this fall and winter I became severely
short-winded. I did some reading and realized that I had
pulmonary edema, a fluid buildup in the lungs which severely
hampers breathing. I did some more reading and found that there
are a number of essential oils that decongest the lungs and induce
expectoration of pulmonary fluids. Out of these, I chose oil of
frankincense, oil of thieves, and oil of peppermint. Each night, in
my bedroom Venta air filter, I would put filtered water, with several
drops each of these three *pure* essential oils along with two or
three eye-droppersful of mild silver protein (400 parts per million)
to prevent bacterial growth, as well as to absorb this silver into my
bloodstream for its germicidal action. Keeping the door closed, all
night long, I was breathing in this medicinalized vaporized air
emitted by my silent Venta air filter.
My lungs gradually began to clear. I was expectorating the fluid
that was blocking my oxygen absorption. Now, after about two
months, my lungs are pretty much cleared out, although I'm still
expectorating. I'm shoveling snow now with my normal strength
and endurance.
Remember that the deadly bird flu and other super flus are
becoming widespread, so please save this message because
it could make the difference between suffering horribly from
the deadly bird flu or dying from it. Bird flu has a 60 to 90
percent kill rate.
I have the smaller model Venta air filter with one disc stack.  JD

Here is an article on 3 oils

3 Essential Oils that Heal

Tea Tree is revered for its antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, antiseptic and powerful antifungal properties.  I use it for pretty much all skin issues and since it is one of the essential oils that you can apply neat to the skin (without diluting in a carrier oil like jojoba, sweet almond, grape seed etc.) it is easy to use.

This one lists 10 oils

10 Best Medicinal Essential Oils

Essential oils can be utilized topically, orally or by inhalation. The oils have the ability to penetrate the skin and enter the blood stream within minutes after application.

From Global Moderator Ruth:

"Just saw an article on Yahoo news about the Zika virus. Turns out that OFF repellant with the fan thing is effective. But they mention that Lemon eucalyptus essential oil is also.
That is also called Eucalyptus citriodora or just Citriodora. It’s one of the 4 ingredients in my Anti-B oil. Zika has been proven to be an STD. Yikes.

The citriodora is safe for all ages and pg women. I would use a 4% dilution: 40 drops of it into 1 fluid ounce of coconut oil or other unscented massage or carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil.

Pass on to people!"

Glad to do it...
I don't know much about Zika yet...
Everyone can post what they learn somewhere on board... maybe its own topic.

Good information on diluting essential oils.  Now the question is, are most essential oils diluted in approximately the same way?  Reason for asking is I recently ordered, and received, two essential oils from wellnesscent.com, and with each oil, they included a little card for a "FREE E Book pdf"  and all I have to do is access www.wellnesscent.com/free/ebook/oil but no matter what, I cannot access the site.  (I ordered through Amazon).

So the obvious question is, is a 4% dilution fairly common?  Frankincense is one I'm esecially interested in.

Funny thing, I tried just a minute ago to access that site from HERE, and voila!  I got into the site.  Where there's a will, there's a way.

Our first blizzard of the season hit today, trapping us indoors.  One of the rituals in our home to help prevent flu and brighten the mood during the darker months is constantly maintaining a simmering spice and essential oil pot on the stove.

One version of such a historic mixture, known as "Thieves Oil," or just "Thieves" in Appalachian lingo, has been used for centuries vs. a variety of contagious illnesses, such as Plague.
https://www.healthy-holistic-living.com/how-to-make-thieves-oil.html

It helps to shop "scratch and dent" grocery stores ahead of winter for deep discounts on otherwise expensive spices that we don't grow, such as cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and citrus peelings.  I've purchased them for as little as 25₵ a bottle at a local Amish bargain outlet. A variety of native herbs can also be grown indoors, and the medicine cabinet can be raided for eyedropper bottles of essential oils such as thyme, as well.

The trick is to keep the pot not-quite full of water so whole herbs such as cinnamon sticks, cloves and citrus peelings don't scorch.  A pot too full may boil over.

The extra humidity will help to moisten respiratory tract linings and skin, strengthening barriers against invasion by opportunistic microbes.  As steam from the pot aerosolizes the various phytochemicals, they too are able to reach skin and surfaces within the homestead with their antimicrobial properties, as well as purifying the air.

Children enjoy choosing their favorite mixture of herbs and spices, and may gladly assume the task of watching the pot themselves.  :)

Below is our time-worn simmering pot with stains from being filled too full and allowed to boil over...

On another thread today, we briefly discussed the ability of essential oils to radiate what some refer to as life force measurable in units of Hertz, and noted that they are capable of generating a much stronger readable field than food can produce.

I also came across data demonstrating that essential oils are capable of producing far stronger anti-oxidant activity than foods:

A more comprehensive version of the above comparison list using the ORAC Scale developed by Tufts University in Boston is located here:

https://www.theresaneoforthat.com/the-complete-list-of-orac-ratings-for-essential-oils/

The essential oils are intended to be used topically, rather than internally, but as mentioned in a previous post on this thread, I find comfort and joy in using them in a simmering pot in autumn and winter, either the distilled oils or the herbs themselves.  Ironically, the one with the highest ORAC score is also my favorite one: cloves.  :)

I love the image of your stove and essential oil simmering pot, nice!

Here's an interesting link re: musical signatures of essential oils (and everything that exists?), and how they can be used in a coherent musical sequence:

Interestingly, it has been this year that I've finally taken a more serious interest in essential oils, although I've used some for years.  But now they seem to take center stage.

Your long list from lemon to cloves essential oils' anti-oxident activity, compared to that in foods, is an eye-opener!  I still love broccoli and most of the other foods mentioned, but had no idea of the comparative levels of their anti-oxidant activities--foods vs. essential oils.

The one essential oil not on the list is frankincense, one of my favorites.  Whenever I have some health issue, I often start applying frankincense essential oil daily or twice daily until it "feels" like it has done what's needed.  Right now I'm using it to counter the most unusual respiratory ailment I've ever had in my entire life!  It's too long a story for here, but it started in late July and is only now starting to resolve in mid-September.

Thanks for posting the list, RR!
