Why Ham Radio??
« on: September 23, 2017, 09:21:48 AM »
Good time to mention again, anyone without electricity but who had a small HF Ham radio and a 15AH Gel Cell battery could communicatine anywhere in North American, when 3 million people on the island are “SOL” as the saying goes ..

Puerto Rico Streets In Total Darkness As Over 3 Million People Go Without Power After Hurricane Maria “Obliterates” Island

http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/puerto-rico-streets-in-total-darkness-as-over-3-million-people-go-without-power-after-hurricane-maria-obliterates-island_09212017

Over 3 million residents of Puerto Rico are without power after Hurricane Maria devastated the island Wednesday morning with Category 4 winds as high as 155 mph and officials have warned that power may not be restored for months.

Left to fend for themselves a day after Hurricane Maria ravaged Puerto Rico and forced them into a primitive existence, San Juaneros took to the streets Thursday to do what they say Caribbean people do best: Resolver. Figure it out.

No electricity? A mustachioed man in a white undershirt played traffic cop at a Santurce intersection. No ambulances? A daughter borrowed her brother’s SUV to race her frail mother from the La Perla neighborhood to a hospital. No debris removal? A physician and two neighbors borrowed garden tools to clear main Condado thoroughfares on their own.

As Congresswoman Gonzalez-Colon stunningly noted, “This is not the same island”.

Strong Evidence Trail Points to a Massive “Grid Down” Event on November 4th!!

http://beforeitsnews.com/conspiracy-theories/2017/10/strong-evidence-trail-points-to-a-massive-grid-down-event-on-november-4th-2484262.html

Is an EMP in America’s future? A growing number of prominent Americans say it is is.

This article is a massive dot connecting exercise in which it is becoming increasingly clear that the various nefarous forces are combing efforts to take down America in one eventful night. The evidence trail seems to be unmistakable. And as much as I want to be wrong, the trend curve of the known facts speaks to a very dire and nation-changing event that is coming our way.
The EMP Threat/UN Poised to Act

Mike Adams wrote an article in which he reported what is now sinking in with the rest of the media, namely, North Korea has a hydrogen bomb and advanced EMP weapons. Allow this to serve as a backdrop for the following article, which makes the case that the UN is operating on US soil, in places like Rawlins, Wyoming and Hagerstown, Maryland, and they are prepared to survive an EMP attack prior to asserting their authority over the people of the United States.
The United Nations Personnel and Vehicles Are Seemingly Everywhere

The United Nations is clearly on the move across the United. I am getting reports and photos from Georgia, Alabama and Texas. However, the most interesting photos are coming out Rawlins, Wyoming and Hagerstown, Maryland.
Rawlins, Wyoming: UN Command and Control with EMP Proof Communications

Over the past 18 months, the small town of Rawlins, Wyoming has come to my attention because of its intimate association with DHS and the UN. Further, this small town of under 10,ooo people has played host to some very large scale bioweapon response drills as well as testing the efficacy of the Federal authorities to be able to respond to a terrorist chemical attack.

I have taken the following photos to military personnel who tell me this is an United Nations operation. The particular equipment you are looking at is designed to operate and persevere through an EMP attack. Just after Labor Day, Paul Martin and myself have received an identical communication from the Rawlins area.

Here is a more "advanced" version ..  ;) ;D

These Adults Made The Longest Tin Can Phone

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/d7795x/these-adults-made-the-longest-tin-can-phone

Two full days and a lot of climbed trees and precarious string free-ing scenarios later, we finally got the line totally free between our two houses. I think its about 650 feet. And after the first call was made, we sent a camera down the line to capture the feeling, and went back and re-enacted the conversation that lead into the project as part of the project, because "why not?" Maybe that's the better mantra: "Why not?"

Is it really the longest tin can phone ever? Who has the record here?

We can't really tell. We Googled it from our phones while we were making it. Nothing. Guinness officially doesn't have one. We should get them to come out.

Its mostly just for fun. Every time we've used it we still email or call or text the other person first to say, "hey, go outside and try the phone."

Maybe this is a good time to ask about that low-voltage power that comes along the phone line.  In a power outage, we still have landline phone service, so what is the source of the power?  Am certain there are no batteries strategically placed along the line, and have never seen solar panels anywhere pertaining the landline phone power.  So how does the telephone get that little bit of electricity to light the dial and other low energ consumption activities?  Seems if there's a power outage, there wouldn't be any juice for the phone system
