USGS and EMSC do not agree. Reporting data from both.
Earthquake totals in last 24 hours according to:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
39 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 162.0 ⋅ Avg mag = 4.15 (*)

http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/?filter=yes
93 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 354.5 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.81.

(*) magnitude >2.4 in USA, and >4.4 elsewhere. (>2.4 worldwide not available)
------------------------

Three strongest 'quakes from either site (plus two):
*  Mag. 5.4  in north east Japan (both sites).
*  Mag. 5.1  in central mid-west China (both sites).
*  Mag. 5.1  in central mid-east Papua New Guinea mainland (both sites).
*  Mag. 5.1  in Tonga (both sites).
*  Mag. 5.1  offshore north of Honduras and east of Belize (both sites).

Largest groups of multiple 'quakes from either site:
*  22  in Mexico; inland and offshore of the west coast mid-south and south and nearby offshore Guatemala, and south central (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  10  in Chile; north to central, offshore mid-south, and nearby in Argentina (EMSC.  USGS: 5).
*  8  in Indonesia (Papua, mid-east, central, and west):  Papua off south coast mid-west;  mid-east north and mid-north and mid-south and south;  central mid-north and south; and west off the west coast central (EMSC.  USGS: 1).
*  6  in Dominican Republic; on and off the north coast west, mid-west north, and east central (EMSC.  USGS: 2).
*  5  in Philippines; off eastern coastline mid-south (both sites).
*  5  at Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia; off the east coast south (EMSC.  USGS: 4).
*  4  in Greece; off the west coast mid-south, and west and south of Crete (EMSC.  USGS: 2).
*  4  in Turkey; west incl. nearby islands, east, and off south coast mid-west (EMSC.  USGS: 0).

*  3  in and/or around each of: ⋅ Alaska ⋅ (at least one source site each).
---------------

From USGS (all 'quakes, separate data capture, see notes):

92  'quakes of all magnitudes in California and Nevada (max mag. = 2.9).
109  'quakes of all magnitudes in Alaska region (max mag. = 4.0).
*  15  'quakes of all magnitudes in Hawaii (max mag. = 4.2).
*  10  'quakes of all magnitudes in Puerto Rico region (max mag. = 3.1).

*  Strong 'quakes (mag. > 2.4)  in Montana, California, Nevada. SE Arizona, and Texas (USA);  and in Alaska region, Hawaii, and  Puerto Rico region (3 Qs).

*  Little shakers (mag. 1.0 ~ 2.4) in Washington, California, and Nevada (USA);  and in Alaska (98 Qs), Hawaii (14 Qs), and Puerto Rico (6 Qs).

*  37 little shakers in California and Nevada, plus many smaller ones. (All-magnitude clusters in California: SE of Los Angeles and nearby, mid-north mid-west, and minor cluster mid-south east nearby in Nevada.)

*  No 'quakes of any magnitude in Yellowstone Park (NW Wyoming plus strips of Montana and Idaho).

Notes: Quarry blasts and explosions are excluded from above lists and totals, except where otherwise indicated.
USGS lists some sites near borders as near locations across the border (worldwide).
Earthquake counts less than 3 are not reported, except where otherwise indicated.
The later data capture for this sub-section causes some inconsistencies with the earlier data set.
----------------------------

From EMSC (two separate data captures):
24 earthquakes of magnitude >1.9 in last 24 hours in Euro-Med region, according to http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Map/zoom.php?key=1&typ=world#2 (approx. 3 only in Greece, and 15 in Turkey).

The later data capture for this sub-section causes some inconsistencies with the earlier data set.

From EMSC (three separate data captures):
34 earthquakes of magnitude >1.9 in last 24 hours in Euro-Med region, according to http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Map/zoom.php?key=1&typ=world#2 (approx. 9 only in Greece, and 10 in Turkey).

Dutch earthquake watcher Ditrianum has expressed concern over celestial geometry potentially affecting the period of May 8-11:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTwCjlBUiJU

Yesterday, May 8: Earth-Mercury-Uranus

Tomorrow, May 10: Sun-Venus-Neptune

The Earth-Mercury-Uranus alignment has historically produced a large quake 71% of the time.

His prediction for a 7.0+ magnitude quake to hit a few days ago in response to alignments at that time was unfortunately validated earlier this week.

Remember that according to his theory, there can be a 3-day lag period between an alignment and the earth's seismic response.

Notes: Quarry blasts and explosions are excluded from above lists and totals, except where otherwise indicated.

Earthquake counts less than 3 are not reported, except where otherwise indicated.
The later data capture for this sub-section causes some inconsistencies with the earlier data set.
