USGS and EMSC do not agree. Reporting data from both.
Earthquake totals in last 24 hours (ending 10AM EST) according to:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
43 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 156.2 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.63 ⋅ (*)

http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/?filter=yes
142 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 503.0 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.54 ⋅ Median mag = 3.5

(*) Magnitude >2.4 in USA, and >4.4 elsewhere. (>2.4 worldwide not available). Note: that criterion is not applied consistently everywhere.

USGS has 13 'quakes of mag. >4.4, and EMSC has 15.
------------------------

Three strongest 'quakes from either site:
* Mag. 5.6  on the east coast mid-south of Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia (both sites).
* Mag. 5.5  off the north coast of Fiji largest island (both sites).
* Mag. 5.0  between Tonga (nearest) and New Zealand (both sites).

Largest groups of multiple 'quakes from either site:
*  35  in southern Mexico;  max mag. 4.7 off the west coast south (EMSC.  USGS: 1).
*  17  in Indonesia (Papua, mid-east, central, mid-west, and west) and nearby in Philippines;  max mag. 4.7 off the west coast mid-north of Indonesia (EMSC.  USGS: 2).
*  13  in Puerto Rico;  max mag. 4.2 off the south coast west (EMSC.  USGS: 12).
*  13  in Costa Rica;  max mag. 4.0 off the west coast south (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  8  in Turkey and nearby in Georgia;  max mag. 4.0 in west central Turkey (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  7  in California USA and nearby in Mexico;  max mag. 3.6 in south west California (both sites).
*  6  in Chile;  max mag. 3.9 in north mid-east (EMSC.  USGS: 1 @M3.1).
*  6  in Argentina and nearby in Bolivia;  max mag. 4.5 in far NW Argentina (EMSC.  USGS: 1).
*  5  in Aleutian Islands;  max mag. 4.7 there (both sites).
*  5  in Greece and nearby in Albania;  max mag. 3.2 off the west coast mid-south of Greece (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  4  in Alaska;  max mag. 4.3 in east south (both sites).

* 3 in and/or around each of: ⋅ Oklahoma USA ⋅ (at least one source site each).

Notes:
* The max mag. for each line can be from the site with the least number of 'quakes.
* Counts >2 in Argentina are now reported separately from Chile unless they are all nearby Chile. Any that are near to Chile are on the eastern slope of the Andes.

Comment: USGS's exclusion of magnitudes <4.5 outside of USA fails to reveal groups of 'quakes of increasing significance (e.g, Australia, Mexico). Note that that criterion is not applied consistently everywhere (see underlined values, if any).
-----------------------

From USGS (USA all 'quakes, separate data capture, 24 hours ending 10AM EST 22/Jan/20):

* 132 'quakes of all magnitudes in California and nearby in Mexico (max mag. 3.6).
* 54 'quakes of all magnitudes in Alaska and nearby in Canada (max mag. 4.0).
* 23 'quakes of all magnitudes in Hawaii (max mag. 2.6).
* 12 'quakes of all magnitudes in Puerto Rico (max mag. 4.2).
* 12 'quakes of all magnitudes in Oklahoma (max mag. 2.8).
* 5 'quakes of all magnitudes in western Montana (max mag. 1.8).

* 1 or 2 'quakes of any magnitudes in Nevada, Arkansas, and eastern Tennessee (max mag. 2.4 in TN).

* No 'quakes of any magnitude in Yellowstone Park (NW Wyoming plus strips of Montana and Idaho).

Note: Quarry blasts and explosions, if any, are shown on the map but not included in the 'quake counts above.
----------------------------

From EMSC (two separate data captures; 'quake counts are not necessarily consistent):
* 22 earthquakes of magnitude >1.9 in last 24 hours in Euro-Med region, according to http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Map/zoom.php?key=1&typ=world#2
[IMAGE Jan22-2020_quakes_min-mag-2_Iberia_to_Iran_per_EMSC_24-Hrs_Jan22-2020.jpg]  has 19 'quakes.

USGS and EMSC do not agree. Reporting data from both.
Earthquake totals in last 24 hours (ending 10AM EST) according to:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
32 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 117.2 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.66 ⋅ (*)

http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/?filter=yes
168 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 570.4⋅ Avg mag = 3.40 ⋅ Median mag = 3.3

(*) Magnitude >2.4 in USA, and >4.4 elsewhere. (>2.4 worldwide not available). Note: that criterion is not applied consistently everywhere.

USGS has 9 'quakes of mag. >4.4, and EMSC has 10.
------------------------

Three strongest 'quakes from either site (plus one):
* Mag. 5.5  off the NE corner of Japan (both sites).
* Mag. 5.2  in the Aleutian Islands (both sites).
* Mag. 5.1  in mid-east mid-north Papua New Guinea region, in the islands (both sites).
* Mag. 5.1  in west central Turkey (USGS.  EMSC: 4.9).

Largest groups of multiple 'quakes from either site:
*  57  in Turkey and nearby islands;  max mag. 5.1 in west central Turkey (EMSC.  USGS: 2 incl. M4.4).
*  16  in southern Mexico and nearby offshore Guatemala;  max mag. 4.4 on and off the west coast south of Mexico (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  21  in Indonesia (mid-east, and central) and nearby in Philippines;  max mag. 4.6 in mid-east south and beyond-south of Indonesia  (EMSC.  USGS: 1).
*  10  in Puerto Rico;  max mag. 3.9 off the south coast mid-west (USGS.  EMSC: 9).
*  10  in Peru and nearby in Ecuador;  max mag. 4.3 in mid-north mid-east Peru (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  8  in Chile and nearby in Argentina;  max mag. 4.0 in mid-north mid-west Chile (EMSC.  USGS: 0).  (*)
*  8  in Dominican Republic;  max mag. 3.7 off the north coast mid-west (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  6  in Alaska;  max mag. 3.6 in mid-west south (USGS.  EMSC: 4).
*  5  in Iran;  max mag. 4.8 at Iraq border central (EMSC.  USGS: 1).
*  4  in Greece and nearby in Albania;  max mag. 3.8 in mid-south mid-east of Greece (EMSC.  USGS: 0).

*  3  in and/or around each of: ⋅ off the east coast of Japan ⋅ (at least one source site each).

(*) 1 'quake nearby in Peru is counted in another line.

From USGS (USA all 'quakes, separate data capture, 24 hours ending 10AM EST 28/Jan/20):

* 142 'quakes of all magnitudes in California, Nevada, and nearby in Mexico (max mag. 2.5).
* 40 'quakes of all magnitudes in Alaska (max mag. 3.6).
* 27 'quakes of all magnitudes in Hawaii (max mag. 2.4).
* 11 'quakes of all magnitudes in Puerto Rico (max mag. 3.6).

That was a very interesting little fact about Gitmo Jim!

I happened to watch last nights recorded local news, Ch 10 central west Florida and was surprised to find out, the M7.7 quake that hit in the Caribbean was actually felt in places like Miami Florida and Orlando Florida!!  The Channel 10 weatherman Bobby Deskins said there were reports of shaking felt in Orlando Florida, which is inland central Florida. That big quake was yesterday.

PS Re Some people in Orlando feeling the big Caribbean quake on January 28th. Quake offshore Cuba...

 https://www.tcpalm.com/story/news/local/martin-county/2020/01/28/self-reports-usgs-claim-earthquakes-effects-felt-treasure-space-coasts/4601913002/

Several people reported to USGS that they felt earthquake's effects on Treasure, Space coasts and Orlando
Published 6:24 p.m. ET Jan. 28, 2020
MARTIN COUNTY — A 7.7 magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon in the Caribbean Sea between Jamaica and Cuba, according to data by the U.S. Geological Survey.

Several people self-reported that they felt the earthquake on the Geological Survey's website, with instances including Miami, West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie,  Vero Beach, Cocoa and Orlando according to "Did you Feel It?" data, a citzen-reporting tool used to measure the potential reach of earthquakes.

Some buildings in Miami were evacuated as a precaution, USA Today reported.

Just before 6 p.m., over 1,150 people had submitted responses to the USGS that they felt some form of movement, however the Florida Geological Survey did not immediately have seismologic data for the state, according to the Survey.

The Survey said the public form "collects information from people who felt an earthquake and creates maps that show what people experienced and the extent of damage."
The form is not verified seismological data, but are citizen reports, according to the Survey.

One meteorologist did, however, report documented seismologic activity in Martin County. WPBF meteorologist Mike Lyons in West Palm Beach reported a seismograph picked up some seismic activity in Martin County.
