USGS and EMSC do not agree. Reporting data from both.
Earthquake totals in last 24 hours (ending 10AM EDT) according to:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
44 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 148.7 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.38 ⋅ (*)

http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/?filter=yes
149 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 501.0 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.36

(*) Magnitude >2.4 in USA, and >4.4 elsewhere (>2.4 worldwide not available).  Note: that criterion is not applied consistently everywhere; smaller 'quakes are included in some regions sometimes, and sometimes 'quakes with mag. >4.4 per EMSC are absent per USGS.

USGS has 8 'quakes of mag. >4.4, and EMSC has 11.

World earthquakes map.  Magnitudes ≥3.0.  24 hours ending 10:03 AM EDT 25/Aug/20.

[IMAGE Aug25-2020_world_earthquakes_min-mag-3_24-hrs_10-03-AM-EDT_Aug25-2020.JPG]

Count: 121 'quakes. (Note: EMSC has 54 'quakes of 2.5≤ magnitude <3.0. 121+54 =175)
Max mag. 6.0 off the west coast of Costa Rica.
This site compiles data from more sources than only EMSC and USGS.
The map is interactive and can show volcanoes as well as earthquakes.
---------------------------------------

Three strongest 'quakes from USGS and EMSC:
* Mag. 6.0  on the west coast central of Costa Rica (both sites).
* Mag. 5.6  SW of Samoa (both sites).
* Mag. 5.5  on the coast north of Peru (both sites).

Largest groups of multiple 'quakes from either site (short list: counts > 9 approx.):
*  30  in and offshore west of southern Mexico; max mag. 4.2 twice (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  22  in Chile incl. 2 nearby in Peru and 1 nearby in Argentina;  max mag. 3.7 in Chile (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  17  in Puerto Rico region;  max mag. 3.7 (EMSC.  USGS: 16).
*  9  in Indonesia;  max mag. 4.1 (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  8 in Dominican Republic;  max mag. 4.4 (EMSC.  USGS: 2).

*  Also of interest:  7 in each of:  Philippines (*),   Costa Rica region,   and California USA incl. nearby in Nevada and incl. nearby in northern Baja California, Mexico.

(*) 1 'quake nearby in Indonesia is counted in another line.

Notes:
* The max mag. for each group can be from the site with the least number of 'quakes.
* Different sites may have the same number of 'quakes in a region but not the same ones or the same max mag.
* All source sites have a variable processing delay of perhaps from 2 to 20 minutes, normally.
* The facilities available allow for recovery today of 'quakes lost in processing delay at cut-off time yesterday for EMSC but not for other sites. That accounts for some cases of EMSC having one or two more 'quakes than USGS does in a region.
* Doing multiple downloads starting as soon after 09:59:59 AM EDT as sources update can take up to 5 minutes and give inconsistent results for that time interval. Sources update at intervals ranging from perhaps 1 minute to 5 minutes. (They do not update after every 'quake.)
======================================

From USGS (USA all 'quakes, separate data capture, 24 hours ending 10AM EDT 25/Aug/20):

* 112 'quakes of all magnitudes in California and nearby in Mexico (max mag. 2.9 twice).
* 55 'quakes of all magnitudes in Nevada (max mag. 2.9).
* 47 'quakes of all magnitudes in Alaska and nearby in Canada (max mag. 3.5).
* 22 'quakes of all magnitudes in Puerto Rico region (max mag. 3.7).
* 17 'quakes of all magnitudes in Hawaii (max mag. 3.0).
* 6 'quakes of all magnitudes in Oklahoma (max mag. 1.8).

* 1 or 2 'quakes of any magnitude in  Washington, Idaho, NW Wyoming, Utah, western Texas, NE Arkansas, and North Carolina (max mag. 3.3 in ID).

> 1 'quake of all magnitudes in Yellowstone Park (NW Wyoming plus strips of Montana and Idaho) (mag. 0.1).
+ 1 'quake of all magnitudes near to New Madrid in SE Missouri (mag. 2.9).

[IMAGE Aug25-2020_all_quakes_USA_24hrs_ending_10AM-EDT-Aug25-2020.JPG]
Note: Quarry blasts and explosions, if any, are shown on the map but not included in the 'quake counts above.
> Explosions:  Washington 1.
> Quarry blasts:  None.
---------------------------

From EMSC (two separate data captures; 'quake counts are not necessarily consistent):
* 32 earthquakes of magnitude ≥2.0 in last 24 hours in Euro-Med region, according to http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Map/zoom.php?key=1&typ=world#2

[IMAGE Aug25-2020_quakes_min-mag-2_Iberia_to_Iran_per_EMSC_24-Hrs_Aug25-2020.jpg]  has 27 'quakes.

Earthquake totals in last 24 hours (ending 10AM EDT) according to:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
37 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 130.3 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.52 ⋅ (*)

http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/?filter=yes
142 'quakes of magnitude >2.4 ⋅ Total mags = 491.9 ⋅ Avg mag = 3.46  (**)

(*)  Magnitude >2.4 in USA, and >4.4 elsewhere (>2.4 worldwide not available).  Note: that criterion is not applied consistently everywhere; smaller 'quakes are included in some regions sometimes, and sometimes 'quakes with mag. >4.4 per EMSC are absent per USGS.

USGS has 9 'quakes of mag. >4.4, and EMSC has 10.

(**) The download from EMSC appears to be incomplete, altho the first few and the last few events are in it.  The count from the source listing is 157.  After some investigation, I did not identify the discrepancy.

World earthquakes map.  Magnitudes ≥3.0.  24 hours ending 10:03 AM EDT 30/Aug/20.
From https://www.volcanoesandearthquakes.com/
[IMAGE Aug30-2020_world_earthquakes_min-mag-3_24-hrs_10-03-AM-EDT_Aug30-2020.JPG]

Count: 152 'quakes. (Note: EMSC has 35 'quakes of 2.5≤ magnitude <3.0. 152+35 =187)
Max mag. 5.2 in "South Shetland Islands (Antarctica)".

This site compiles data from more sources than only EMSC and USGS.
The map is interactive and can show volcanoes as well as earthquakes.
---------------------------------------

Three strongest 'quakes from USGS and EMSC (plus one):
* Mag. 5.3   SSE of the tip of South America, near the peninsula of Antarctica (EMSC.  USGS: 5.1).
* Mag. 5.0   off the north coast of North Island, New Zealand (both sites).
* Mag. 4.7   south of Samoa (both sites).
* Mag. 4.7   off the coast mid-north of Peru (USGS.  EMSC: 4.6).

Largest groups of multiple 'quakes from either site (short list: counts > 9 approx.):
*  27  in and offshore west of southern Mexico;  max mag. 4.2 (EMSC.  USGS: 0).
*  15  off the north coast of North Island, New Zealand;  max mag. 5.0 (EMSC.  USGS: 1).
*  11  in Chile incl. 3 nearby in Peru and 1 nearby in Argentina; max mag. 4.0 in Peru (EMSC. USGS: 0).
*  10  in Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands;  max mag. 4.3 in PR (both sites).
*  10  in Indonesia;  max mag. 4.6 (EMSC.  USGS: 1).

*  Also of interest:  Philippines 7,  Alaska 7,  and Dominican Republic + Haiti 6..

======================================

From USGS (USA all 'quakes, separate data capture, 24 hours ending 10AM EDT 30/Aug/20):

* 87 'quakes of all magnitudes in California (max mag. 2.4).
* 51  'quakes of all magnitudes in Nevada (max mag. 3.3).
* 43  'quakes of all magnitudes in Alaska (max mag. 3.7).
* 16  'quakes of all magnitudes in Hawaii (max mag. 2.7).
* 16  'quakes of all magnitudes in Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands (max mag. 4.1).
* 3  'quakes of all magnitudes in Oklahoma (max mag. 2.3).

* 1 or 2 'quakes of any magnitude in: Idaho, NE Arkansas, and North Carolina (*)  (max mag. 3.6 in AR).
(*) This continuing series of weak and shallow events, all in the same small region, would most likely be explosions in underground facilities.

> No 'quakes of any magnitude in Yellowstone Park (NW Wyoming plus strips of Montana and Idaho).
+ 1 'quake of all magnitudes near to New Madrid in SE Missouri (mag. 3.6).

[IMAGE Aug30-2020_all_quakes_USA_24hrs_ending_10AM-EDT-Aug30-2020.JPG]
Note: Quarry blasts and explosions, if any, are shown on the map but not included in the 'quake counts above.
> Explosions:  None.
> Quarry blasts:  None.
---------------------------

From EMSC (two separate data captures; 'quake counts are not necessarily consistent):
* 30 earthquakes of magnitude ≥2.0 in last 24 hours in Euro-Med region, according to http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Map/zoom.php?key=1&typ=world#2

[IMAGE Aug30-2020_quakes_min-mag-2_Iberia_to_Iran_per_EMSC_24-Hrs_Aug30-2020.jpg]  has 25 'quakes.
