Everyone I know is just preparing to survive... what is actually occurring right now...
One of many things happening right now. Well, not everyone I know is preparing for the future not in a survivalist sense... That sure has to happen too...
People are preparing for the future, but none of us knows what it will be.....

True it is pretty difficult to know exactly what it will be...

Barb:  MISC News on Coronavirus

March 27, 2020, 3:28 PM EDT
By David K. Li
A half-dozen positive coronavirus cases sprouted from a single St. Patrick's Day party in Kentucky that went on even after a big local parade had been cancelled, health officials said Friday.

In total, there have been 44 cases and one death so far in Fayette County, health department spokesman Kevin Hall said.

And at least six of those positive cases have been traced to a St. Patrick's Day party on March 17 in the county seat of Lexington, according to Hall.

While there's no shelter-in-place order in Kentucky, authorities had urged social distancing and to limit any gatherings to less than 10 people. And already by Tuesday, all bars had already been closed and restaurants limited to takeout orders.

Organizers of this Lexington party had limited their invite list to nine guests but more than that eventually showed up, Hall said.

Nearly 3 dozen who attended Arkansas church event test positive for coronavirus
"Maybe you assumed that it couldn’t happen to you, just like I did," the church pastor wrote in a Facebook post.

March 26, 2020, 12:21 PM EDT  By Janelle Griffith

Nearly three dozen people who attended a recent children's event at a church in Arkansas have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to church officials.

Donald Shipp, a deacon at First Assembly of God church in Greers Ferry, about 75 miles north of Little Rock, told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that 34 people who attended the event in early March at the Cleburne County church had tested positive for the coronavirus, and that an unknown number of others were awaiting test results.

Danyelle McNeill, a spokeswoman for the Arkansas Department of Health, said a number of coronavirus cases have been associated with a church in Cleburne County, which she did not identify.

"We are still investigating newly reported cases and can’t definitively say they are all connected to one church," McNeill told NBC News on Thursday. "This is a cluster within a larger outbreak in that area of the state."

There were at least 310 reported coronavirus cases and two deaths in Arkansas as of Thursday morning.

Pastor Palenske:"Please adhere to the social instructions that you are receiving locally and nationally."

Louisiana pastor: God will 'heal their body' if my parishioners contract COVID-19
MARCH 26, 20200 1:35
Mark Palenske, a pastor at the church, said in a lengthy Facebook post late last week that he and his wife, Dena, were among those to test positive for COVID-19.

He said that when such a virus spreads on the other side of the world, "your first inclination is to assume that time and distance are on your side."

But "that false assumption" recently caught up with him and his wife, he said.

The couple and dozens of others from their church initially could not get tested, according to Palenske.

"One local doctor had a very small number of commercial tests and the rest is history, I suppose," he wrote.

He said that before even receiving positive test results, the church had followed medical advice and canceled services.

The couple's symptoms began with headaches followed by intense body aches and lethargy, as well as waves of chills, sweating and nausea, Palenske wrote in his post.

"Dena had a very scary morning a few days ago, which included a seizure of sorts and required hospitalization," he said.

His wife's condition has since improved and they are both back home, he said. Palenske said he could not pinpoint "where the virus came from."

"Even though we were the original positives, there are people who have been sick longer than we have," he said. "It clearly made its way through a special weekend of children’s ministry at our church."

He requested that people pray for health care workers, and he advised that people "take this medical threat more seriously."

"Maybe you assumed that it couldn’t happen to you, just like I did," he wrote. "Please adhere to the social instructions that you are receiving locally and nationally."

UPDATE — New COVID-19 Test; Surprise Symptoms; and Scientists Speak Up About Pandemic

"many COVID-19 patients reported the unusual symptoms of loss of smell and taste."

'March 21, 2020 UPDATE Albuquerque, New Mexico –  For the first time since December 2019, China’s rising COVID-19 pandemic cases and deaths seemed to finally top out this week. If that’s any guide for us in the United States, we will have four nightmare months to go until June 2020, staying at home in self-quarantine throughout America trying hard to keep new case and death numbers down.  If China’s General Secretary, Xi Jinping, had not ordered the mandatory lockdown of some 100 million people in Wuhan and the surrounding region for weeks, the awful pandemic coronavirus might have wiped out millions of people by now, instead of the thousands it already has. 1. Will Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin Drugs Help Fight COVID-19?

President Trump keeps bringing up two malaria-fighting drugs that he thinks will help solve the pandemic crisis:  hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) that can treat malaria, lupus and arthritis; and the anti-fungal Azithromycin. But today on March 21, 2020, a Philippine infectious disease physician and molecular biologist Edsel Salvana, Ph.D., tweeted the following. Please see below the larger font message he wrote:

“Please don’t take hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) plus Azithromycin for COVID-19 UNLESS your doctor prescribes it. Both drugs affect the QT interval of your heart and can lead to arrhythmias and sudden death, especially if you are taking other meds or have a heart condition.” See Websites below.

Do you have any of those hand-held meters to detect RF?  Have you noticed how close or far apart are the antennae?  Are any of your neighbors talking about it in a worried way?

RF meters might not detect microwave radiation.   I tried a search for microwave detectors and came up empty.  If you have a lead to such, please post the link.

So far, I have seen microwave antennae only on one tower about a mile away, but there could be others.

Microwave antennae are different from previous cell-phone facilities.  The microwave version is a half cylinder split length-wise vertically, and with the open side facing outwards.  The cell-phone version is a whole vertical cylinder.  (As far as I have noticed.  Please update any further info.)

Neighbors are clue-less.

What happened in Portland, OR during the Spanish Flu.
There are some some parallels. - Barb T.
Excerpts from the article:

https://www.opb.org/news/article/oregon-portland-spanish-influenza-coronavirus-pandemic-history/?
When Portland Went On Lockdown: How Oregon Reacted To The Pandemic Of 1918
by Ian McCluskey OPB March 28, 2020 6 a.m. | Updated: March 28, 2020 7:26 a.m.

Today, scientists have identified the virus [ Spanish flu] as a novel H1N1 strain of influenza. Like the current novel coronavirus pandemic, the term “novel” means humans had never been exposed to it. And because people had no previous exposure, they had no immunity to it.  Coronavirus, COVID19 is also a novel virus.

Wash hands, social distance
Just a week after Portland’s first Spanish flu diagnosis, the Oregon State Board of Health ordered all public gathering places to shut down statewide. Parades were canceled. Churches suspended services. Restaurants sat empty. Dance halls silent. And suddenly, 36,000 Portland students had nowhere to go.

Officials urged Portland residents to wash their hands and keep at least 4 feet apart — the prototype of “social distancing.”

By Nov. 3, exactly one month from the first case diagnosed in Portland — the death toll in Portland had risen to 227.

That same day, Oregon City reported 17 new cases. Bend reported 100 cases and its first fatality. Hood River County reported 250 cases and called on anyone with nursing experience to help hospital workers by making house calls to home-bound patients.

Seventeen people had died in Seattle that day; 15 the day before. San Francisco was hit with nearly 2,000 new cases in three days. They made wearing a mask mandatory, punishable by fine or imprisonment.

The epidemic was escalating so quickly that it was growing difficult to track.

In the end, it had taken the lives of around 3,500 Oregonians. The Spanish influenza pandemic became one of the deadliest events in history. It infected as many as one in every four humans on the planet, and it resulted in an estimated 50–100 million deaths. The pandemic killed more people than World War I — and in a shorter amount of time.
