NASA tells us that the next major impact event is not a matter of if, but when and that when it does happen, it could very well cause the end of life as we know it.  So we'll begin with an analysis of current fireball trend data, which tells us that NASA's when could be sooner than later.

In Signs No. 13, we looked at the alarming trend for fireballs, based on statistical data up through November 2016.  In this program, we will look at the newest numbers from December 2016 through January of this year.
