A disaster of this magnitude, would not the economy collapse?
Would troops have to be brought home because of no money to run a war?
Would war in the middle east erupt again, and maybe an attack on Israel because we would not be there to protect them?
Russia? China? Any military aspirations that might bear fruit?
So many "what if's".
ICON, I believe it will be all of the above. (Not saying anything you haven't already thought of) but
here's what I think:
The economy might not completely permanently collapse - but surely a lot of systems will just disappear.
Once the natural disasters kick into a certain high degree, it will probably be impossible to get
one's cash out of ATMs or banks. Not advocating a bank run here that is premature. Anyone counting on that automatic deposit will be out of luck.
People will need put $ into their land, their food water and other supplies
including protection for the place,
Troops would be brought home unless someone waits too long and they can't get home and have to hunker down and go underground near where they are..
Iran is just months away from having a nuke and unless something is done about that and other nukes in the Middle East it will be a mess to say the least. I do not necessarily think the current leader of Iran would necessarily order a nuke to be fired but someone could. Earth movements could set something off too.
I think Russian and China will focus on their own country and not actually be trying to move on other countries. The earth changes will be of a great enough magnitude that everyone will be trying to get underground and survive. After the winds die down, the earth stops shaking and the fires are out - who knows what could happen then.
